Why do you feel bad for Canada? For centuries now, indigenous populations have been displaced, harassed, and killed by governments (and indirectly corporations). It interesting and sad at the same time to see it happen before our eyes in 2007 when society supposedly upholds human rights.
Western societies have been unknowingly suppressed by censorship. Corporations do whatever they can to conceal this kind of information but now its out...

Yo me siento mal por la gente porque no es un caso de invasion de tierra como ha sucedido en otros lugares. Esta gente al parecer ya vivia ahi y llegaron a quitarles lo poco que tenian. how very sad and disheartening. If they have to do something so horrific, then what are they doing to help these people?
So sad it brought me to tears. What is sadder still is to know this happened only a year ago and that terrible things like this are still happening.
It also touches me because my sponsored child lives in Guatemala. It saddens me and touches my heart.
I hope the lady in pink succeeds in her intentions!
Shame on the people who did the evictions.

When slavery was in practice, slaves prayed and prayed and no supernatural powers happened. They had to wait decades to be free from it until man decided to abolish it.

There are some Mayan people in Guatemala who don't actually speak spanish but their own language such as qeq'chi, kak'chikel, mam, qui'che, etc. etc.
