  • Top Southern Bands:

    The Allmans Brothers Band

    Lynyrd Skynyrd

    ZZ TOP

    .38 Special

    Black Crowes

  • Southern bands always have 18 people. LOL

  • They do rock live, still. I have seen them live 3 times, and really great show. Alot of non fans dont realize all the great songs they put out until they see them live.

I wish they would come back to Baton Rouge.

  • F*ckin' AYHHH...Baton Rouge!!

  • Well I can tell you, that I didn't realize they did this song-fantastic song!!g after years of trying to find out! Fantastic song!

  • Get to see 38 Special and ZZ Top Tommorow...CAN'T WAIT!

  • they canhave all the people in the band that they want

  • I love .38 but they have too many people in the band. What the hell do they need 3 guitar players for? Van Zant just runs around doing very little. I doubt he's even plugged in anymore. Keys are worthless in 99% of their songs.

  • i agree

  • Well, number one he is a great performer. He did great when he crossed over into country. Two, he sings some of their songs like Wild Eyed Southern Boys. I saw them in the eighties at the Cotton Bowl and Van Zant was awesome and it wouldn't have been the same without him. It was so hot, he pulled a huge ice chest out and started throwing beer into the crowd. Fun, fun, fun.

  • @rollinjukebox,

Firstly, who are you to decide how many people are in the band. Iron Maiden has three guitarists as do the Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more. Van Zant is the co-lead singer and has sung on almost half of all the songs they've done and is also one of the main song writers too.. Keyboards have been added to the mix since 1988 and enhance the overall sound.

  • you can still see them live , look it up , this was 1999 at sturgis, sd.

  • this band should've been bigger. damn, they geniunely sounded great back then.

  • Yummy vid, thanks.

  • nice snipped first comment, haha you guys rip
