  • very good, how did you learn the notes??

  • Excelente muy bueno amigo !!!

  • THAT WAS ALLLLLRIGHT!!

Thank you for sharing your talent.

  • here in brazil we call this awesome instrument of cavaquinho, good job my friend, in the another oportunity try to play some samba... like us.

  • I played some Jobim tunes already, search on my channel. But a Cavaquinho is a different instrument, I own one myself and have one or two tunes with that one online too. The main diference is the completely different kind of strings, steel on the cava and nylon on the uke.

  • one day I readed that in this instrument when you use baritone tuning is the same thing as cavaquinho, thanks

  • WOW LOL

    IT's so good MAN !

    Good JOB

  • I tip my hat.

  • absolutely amazing.

  • Really Really Great!!

  • Very very nice Gary :-)

  • Fantastic man! Bravo!

  • Seriously I just goof off with this ukulele I have sitting around me (usually Megadeth or TOol) and was thinking of old songs and saw the Original Double version and thought "I bet that would work". And here you are.

  • well done you! I bought `the captain of her heart` when first released back in the 80`s a timeless masterpiece. if it dosent play music with your heartstrings then you have no soul! interesting version, thank you!!!

  • Hey you did a really great job

  • Awesome! Fabulous! Thanks for sharing!!!!!

  • This is one of my all time favourite songs, first heard on a radio station in Christchurch, New Zealand at around 2am sometime i 1985. I'm sure Kurt Maloo and Felix Haug would be pleased at the uketastic justice you have given to this beautifully crafted song.

  • Sir...I've never commented on anything on YouTube, but I had to say something to you! That was fantastic work...not enough people dedicate time to the mastery of an instrument lately as you haveand I miss it...It was pure pleasure to listen to. Thank you very much for sharing!

  • ...this is beautiful!

  • Until now I never regarded a Ukulele as a serious musical instrument. For a terrific song that was essentially a piano oriented arrangement, this video is a very pleasant surprise! We want more! Yeah... the cat.. my cat loves this too!

  • Sehr Gut !!! 5 Stars von mir!!!

  • Very,very nice. Thanks.

    KEN

  • Klasse gespielt!

  • This is one of my favorite songs from the 80's! Very nicely done. I remember when Star Search used this song for their "Spokesmodel" segments... I Picture blurry camera shots, wind blown hair and cheesy sets and costumes involving some sort of nautical theme. Again very nicely played.

    Thanks, Shindig (Dean)

  • much better on the other site actually.

  • total delight of my heart

  • Beautiful arrangement. I don't know the song, but love the sound of what you are playing.

And you have a cat! That gives you extra bonus points :)

  • we should boycott youtube so we can hear your videos in full quality

  • I hope some Ukulele Mfgr., is sponsoring you!

If not, you should look into it!

You're a great Ambassador for the instrument!

Very best wishes for health and happiness!
