  • When ISR reviewed this cockpit (before they tossed Fanatec away) they were full of praise. It is refreshing to see someone being 100% honest about the product, especially a customer. I was contemplating it, but knowing Fanatec's history I decided not to. Besides, it's too expensive when shipping from Germany to my country. I already have the Porsche 911 GT3 RS v2 and the Club Sport pedals. Love it, but I'll buy a different cockpit elsewhere either way. Thanks for your review, appreciate it.

  • nice hat

  • Buying one of these today to go along with my VR3. Now just need a Human Racing GT to complete the collection.

  • Congrats on the purchase! Thanks for the review, and for commenting on the build quality for the price. That could be acceptable, but the company not responding to the customer is not acceptable. As we say in the USMC... that kind of Customer Service is UNSAT!!!

  • do you know how you opt for the carbon fiber seat and how much extra it costs im gona order one in a week or two

  • @MonsteR3659 the gt2 does not support 360

  • @sbvikings30 yes it does look on fanatec's website

  • benutz doch die bremse opa !

  • I am not. I am using the flappy paddles on the back of the steering wheel!

  • why would you be using automatic when you have that set up. i would only use manual

  • I will try Forza 4

  • bet that cost an arm & a leg lol

  • must be nice to have money...

  • That's Darth Vader's sim chair.

  • epic for drifting

  • Personally I'm not a fan of that cockpit, i'd rather build a 2dof motion simulator for a tad bit more; its still cool though.

Stick a buttkicker gamer 2 device on your cockpit (or alternative), that aught to bring the seat alive a little bit.

Anyway.... Have fun, have a Merry Christmas.

  • what does this cost?

  • im 37 and my wife complains that im too old to be playing games so i showed her this video of you. btw...im not sure about the setup you have therre, looks too big..

  • Dear Santa......

  • I cry easily. Please be nice.

  • Playin on child difficulty are we...

  • Lovely setup but I think you would enjoy more if you raced real racing simulation games like rFactor or iRacing on the pc, racing against real people online in a league. :)

  • i went through this same training to get my driver license.

  • Dear Santa..

  • how much did that cost you

  • @masterhall5

    use google...

  • can i have your old one

  • forzaaaaaa motorsport!!!!!!!

  • I want to be like you when i get a bit older! It seems you enjoy your life at its full!Be my uncle or something so i can come and play? :)

  • love the mayham on the background sounds so peacefull !!

  • nice!

  • you should install some rear left and right speakers in the top of the seat and adjust them to the side of your head. and put a subwoofer on the floor right behind the seat. mucho bueno

  • @Mrbillybob1171 Sorry :-( Nice TV though!

  • why do they put the gear selector in such a shit place?

  • @AlchemistHawk You can move it. It's adjustable.

  • @tiger1johnny one thing you miss is 3d tv and buttkicker kit

  • @AlchemistHawk So you have less far to move your hand from the steering wheel to the shifter and back again.

  • Awesome professionell Rennsport cockpit. And I believe you can very comfortable and good driving. And I like your Style to drive. I play 36 Years on Gaming Consols only with the pad. And the first time with a Stick and a red fire Button at 8bit Block Graphics(Atari 2600). The time was crazy. Good luck and many success with your Channel.

  • awesome

  • funny arabic music in the background. driving with those tunes id feel like im in a taxi hahaha. nice setup though!

  • Pretty expensive compared to obutto

  • why do they put the shifter up by the steering wheel?

  • @fuzzyschwartz the closer the shifter is to the wheel the more comfortable it is to drive with two hands. eliminates distance your arm will move between shifts

  • Thank you :)

  • Does anyone know where to find the exact dimensions of this cockpit?

  • @mayamanign lenght: 65 inch (165 cm) width: 31.5 inch (80 cm) height: 43.31 inch (110 cm)

  • @D0Mii26 that way when you shift your hand is still close to the wheel...some real rally cars have these set ups too

  • WHAT TRACK IS THAT i do hard core drifting in GT5 and i love down hill...ive never seen that track plz tell what the name is

  • I'm no pro but can i give some advice? instead of using your right leg for both gas and brake use the right one for gas and left one for brake. this can give more consistency with speed

  • you bought a 1000 euro cockpit and you dont even use manual with clutch?

  • not a sgood as i was hoping, i think the GT2 may be a better cockpit but the one you have has parts to connect a triple monitor set-up making it a little easier.

Also with that cockpit and that wheel you really need a triple monitor set-up but you would need a separate room for that.

  • Will you get the Clubsport Wheel when it's out?

  • Tigerjohnny, can you do another video showing you adjusting all the control surfaces? The pedals, the shifter, the wheel, etc? There are tons of people interested in this cockpit for not only Fanatec wheels but others. Please? Thanks great vid.

  • LOL at the loser stating he's playing with toys. Toys are what make life fun you loser. I'm 42 and have a full blown sim rig with projector and my girl loves it. To bad you think as people get older they have to just die. Shut up.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSebastianSrdc Why is that sad? Never forget - he who dies with the most toys wins. You do what you want to do, it's your choice. But why not remember a few golden rules about life and society? One that you could practice is - if you have nothing nice to say, it is better to say nothing at all.

  • @tiger1johnny Agreed. If you're happy, you can get whatever you want. That's what I think, even if its a guy who likes... I don't know, building model planes, It's his money, he enjoys it, who am I to tell him not to. :) Lovely set up by the way. Very jealous right now. -____-

  • I believe that this cockpit is good, but I think it is unnecessarily cumbersome, too expensive (also unnecessary), and in my opinion looks ugly. For about 300€ you can buy Rinoseat GTR (from Croatia), and I think it's much better cockpit that this and many others (such as Playseat...). It looks small compared with this (goliath:)), but it is cleverly designed and because of this it is very solid and stable (in any situation while driving).

  • Great setup I want one

  • At 2:16 a level i am guaranteed to win lol..

  • Is it easy to drive with a cockpit, good wheel and good pedals?

  • @12scoots34 Yes - IMHO much better

  • Nice video, havnt heard much about this steering wheel and setup, but will be gettin a g27 and building a steel framed cockpit

  • LOL u know the G25 is way better than the G2 right ? :D

  • @MoAzz3s Ahem. Really? Maybe my G25 was sub-standard then? To each his own...

  • @MoAzz3s No it's not

  • @MoAzz3s LOL u know the G27 is way better than the G25 right?

  • @MoAzz3s lol. Your funny :D

  • @MoAzz3s lol no

  • Stay calm BigLazyDog88! Maybe Fanatec has changed design as a response to complaints from customers? Just a thought...

  • I am comparing it to the pic on the fanatec website and it do not look the same !!!

I just do not understand why ! I mean what is the point of showing something to the costumers and sell them somenthing else ... Your cockpit is fine but the cockpit on internet looks alot better that really is disapointing

  • If your not 1st your last

  • I WANNA BE LIKE YOU WHEN I GET OLD :D now i only have the turbo s wheel standart pedals, but one day.... one day... ;)

  • The cockpit is $1,295 in the US to buy. I notice you made a comment about pricing, would you say it is worth $1,295 (About € 893.55)?

  • @killingxfantasy Almost!

  • nice vid! Been looking for a vid like this which showcases the Rennsport cockpit for sometime! can you tell me if the plate on which the steering wheel is mounted onto moves or can be altered in any way, or is that position a 'fixed' position?

  • @TheSimracedriver Sorry for he late reply. Yes, it can be moved up and down and it tilts, the hinge being the edge closest to the driver.

  • I got mine ! but I agree with you :( the quality is not what I expected ! but the rest is fine ! yur VERY confortable in it BTW

  • I find the more vertical seating position very comfortable. I guess it is more like a salon than a low slung sports car. I am getting on very well with it - the new Clubsport pedals are brilliant. My GT5 ranking is climbing again :-)

  • Buttkicker - yep, lots. The gap under the seat (lower position) to the floor is around 10". The seat mounting work is steel so good and solid. I'll grab a few photos and upload them to Flickr in a day or two.

  • Is there any place under the seat or on the rig to mount a Buttkicker?

  • I have no idea, sorry. Check out GTPlanet.net for their cockpit forum, lots of help there. The RennSPort is not flimsy when in use. It is as solid as a rock when you using it. Just not so when you are dragging across the floor. €1,000 is too much. €600 or so - good deal.

  • the cockpit looks really flimsy what kind of wheel stand do you recommend for around 150 dollars?

  • @035071 make yout own. i did and its perfect. infact i spent less than 100 dollars on it

  • @EAsportz1 Thanks I will..

  • Added an answer to the video description sonac. Thanks for the feedback.

  • Good video! Could you maybe tell us what exactly is wrong with the finish of the seat? Stitching on the outside or something else? thanks

That cockpit looks really hardcore, but it takes up a lot of space.
