  • nevermind about the flat film. Looks color corrected alright i suppose.

Still overexposed at some bits, like when the car is driving. Turn down your iso or up your shutter

  • a bit over exposed at times and maybe a little flat. You could bring up the saturation a bit.

  • Bad actors for this not The right people

  • Gun flash was pretty good to my eye. Hope my first attempt at Gun flash is as good as this. Guns looked fine despite plastic build. Like the gritty grey tones. Keep going.

  • Loved it, whens more coming?

  • Good work enjoyed it!

  • dude make more vids! this is awesome!

  • Given with what you had to work with.....AWESOME job bro!!

  • @geedup415 Thank you bro! :)

  • you put a sound of mustang car for a crap voltzwagen

    ??

  • Boring intro boring action 4 minutes of complete bull shit...sigh

  • @icifilm Why did you watch it then for 4 minutes if it got boring in the beggining? :/

  • @icifilm LMFAO!

  • Good use of sound effects, and well edited! just a lil too shaky, but like u said u didn't have much equipment, so its alright. Check my channel out, i make vfx videos aswel, if possible please comment on my videos and give feedback. It would be great if you could also subscribe to my channel!

  • @moeproductions353 Thank you for constructive criticism! You sir, are a sir! :)

  • Always lock your shots off on sticks and then go to hand held for the action sequences if you so choose to. But nice job

  • hey what software did you record this in

  • Love the ending!

  • Nice video ! What's this FUCKING MUSIC ?! I like it !

  • 0:36 sound like a wall clock :D

  • Great Video. And what editing program did you use?

  • So where did you get $10 plastic guns? They were pretty realistic looking! I need some for my project and couldn't find anything that good for anywhere near that money!

  • The video it self was very good as well! I liked the ending! :-)

  • @superwalsh2800 Thank you :)

  • What were the soundtracks you used? They were very good!

  • Good editing but some of the cuts didn't give a good idea of where the people were in relation to each other. Idk just my opinion great job

  • @MegaXplayer I totally agree, thank you for your comment :)

  • @ExordiuMProductions it's because in the earlier shots (guy getting out of car) you crossed the line/axis between them. If you don't know what that means just look up 180 degree rule or crossing the line/crossing the axis.

  • I was getting a feeling of the Good, Bad, and the Ugly at the start with all the stare downs. Good bullet sounds and good for your first. I'm almost brand new too please check out some of my videos and let me know any thoughts you have.

  • This is really good for your first try. The sound effects and props weren't half bad. The editing and film techniques were good. The only real problem I had was the script. It kind of built suspense for too long, then didn't really go anywhere. The end was really well done though. So, all up, bravo.

  • great job

  • Ekstra...a vi ste s Balkana?

  • @2011mkproductions Hvala! Jesmo, Cro.

  • very good job man...the muzzle flare is from videocopilot Action Essential 2? btw remember: muzzles flares produce light that affects environment, also faces of actors =)

  • @91JoshB

Yes it is! And thank you for noticing, but my computer almost died so that last touch (affecting environment) was out of my league for now :) Maybe next time

  • That was great man! i got into it! great job man!

  • your first actor is promising.your music sync is excelant. good set up.congrats tycoonaction@gmail.com

  • Why this video has so many dislikes? For a short, test footage this is Scorsese.

  • @TheDepreso

Ha ha ha, thank you very much! :)

  • 0:00 - 2:10 is completly.. Indifferent. It doesnt have to be there -.- I'm just saying

  • i think mine deserves a couple of views beeouches

  • Last 40 seconds are truly amazing.

  • Nothing really happened...

  • Awesome! But those guys can't shoot worth shit.

    Bravo, keep it coming!

  • Very good Video

    Follow my channel

    Brazil

  • amazing ending :D

  • thats pretty good for ur first one

  • It was a good set up...but they way it ends is pretty disappointing. :(

  • when dude puts the clip in the gun... there are no bullets

  • amazing color corrections, can I please get the settings. I'd be grateful forever :D

  • @BKCapinanes It is just a preset from magic bullet looks, nothing more - film look-> echo

  • @ExordiuMProductions what mbl are you using? I cannot seem to find it on my presets. I have Look Suite, Look, and Mojo.

  • I struggle to believe that you edited a short film of 4:40 in 10 minutes as watching each bit of footage to know when to cut it would take at least 4:40 and surely you'd replay it over and over to make sure it works, then you have to put the music files in and sync up sound effects, type the titles and sort all that out as well as composite overlay muzzle flashes and so on, as well as doing that all in 10 minutes on your first film sounds mighty impressive... what's the song at the end called?

  • @spredspred 10 hours! Where did you get the idea it's 10 minutes? The song is from cliff lyn, check it out, don't know the name.

  • @ExordiuMProductions Lmao, sorry for my little rant! Proper stupid of me! Good work and thanks for the song! (:

  • @ExordiuMProductions That made me laugh my ass off with the mix up of 10 mins and 10 hours. (x

Amazingly done for your first, that great camera quality and colour correction makes it seem like you've been doing this your whole life.

  • wtf?

  • why the two guys sat there and stared at each other for a whole minute i will never knoww

  • WOW MAN ♥

  • how do you achieve the cinemascope look?

  • This was pretty nice.... Check out my short film.. called "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE: t3i short film". THANKS!!!!

  • The name of the song @ 3:55 plz ?

  • P s ,camera was shakey when filming the dude running ,lighting in the car screen was a bit poor, get a good belt .lastly avoid too many medium shots

  • hey dude where did u get ur music from?

  • wow great stuff dude very good keep it up....just some tips: the car scene the sound effects of the screeching tires and rev from the engine ..it didnt convince me that he was speeding or stopping at such speeds due to the video shots you used for the car compared to the sound..if that makes any sense...next time try using some fast cuts of the car from different angles it'll sell it more once u add the sounds you used...but aside from that GREAT STUFF

  • This is pretty awesome stuff my friend! Come check out stuff I have shot with this camera!

  • Awesome stuff :D

  • like it. go check out my t3i film. i got two. "suicide pact" and "zombie house". tell me what you think

  • Hey nice vid! Where did u get your music from?

  • what is the program you've used with the credits/titles ?

  • This was a great video It had me laughing all the way through it but still had its moments of intensity, definitely makes me want to go spend some time with friends and do the same. Excellent job. Keep on shooting! Very inspirational

  • its nice ... but not so much action...:(

  • well done :) gave me hope, that the kit-lense isn't that bad at all

  • your first film? well good job man!

  • It was all good except the sound, make everything louder and have more crunch to it

  • TOO SHAKY GAVE ME A HEADACHE

  • It dragged on quite a bit in parts but your actual action sequences are very well done. Nice cinematography and editing :)

  • what type of lens was used?

  • A very imaginative and original name!! :D Great movie though!!

  • This is probabaly one of the best action short films i have ever seen. Nice job. Subbed :)

  • thats crap i mean the guns look so fake and for half of the movie you just keep staring at each other.CRAP!! CRAP!! CRAP!!

  • what did you guys use for the title sequences

Felicitaciones. (I don´t speak English very good...Sorry, but my comment is positive!!)

  • your aim is bad

  • brilliant start point for a filmaker, just try and be a bit more out there in future but well made

  • Alright the little part in the ending when you guys get ready to go into hand to hand combat really was just about the coolest part of this video. I will like to learn how did you create those amazing end credits too.

  • first of all nice short film tho, which one memory card you using for this camera? and how much it cost... :D

  • @SunnyShawFilms

Thank you, I use SanDisk 32gb Class 10, it should be around 150$.

  • @ExordiuMProductions Are you talking about the camera? It seems a little bit to cheap xD

  • @Lillebror9494

    The SDHC card. :)

  • Awesome, I can't believe this video just used kit lens!

  • very well made for ur first attempt. in fact just made well, period.

  • BRAVI!

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please (ExordiuMProductions) check out my videos too. btw how is the cameras reliablility for this type of filmmaking.

  • THIS IS VERY WELL MADE.

    THIS KEPTED ME WATCHING! !!!!

SOUND AND CAMERA MOVES ARE GREAT.....

  • @reallyfastmr2

Thank you very much Sir! :)

  • @ExordiuMProductions What editing program did you use ? :D so cool man ! thumbsup !

  • @nightubble

Tnx. I used Premiere CS5 and After Effects CS5.

  • good soundtrack where you get it?

  • @maniacminor Cliff Lin, Pro Scores

  • really good effects, and awesome job behind the camera!

  • You can tell neither of you knew how to handle a firearm. The lack of competent gun handling ruined it for me. Cup and Saucer in a gun fight??

  • @justdave1982

Unfortunately, I am not a weapon expert, just an amateur filmmaker, so don't take it for serious. But thanks comment :)

  • lepo :)

  • Looks good, well done! I have the same camera.

  • good stuff

  • i wanted to say that it was bad, but actully this clip is verry good! great job!

  • @aliosha123

I really wonder what changed your mind in such a small amount of time :)

  • @ExordiuMProductions The shots are pretty good, good composition and character are well positionated, but they need better makeup

  • I was wondering how decent video looked from the kit lens. Not bad at all. Thanks for the video.

  • Svaka čast. Očekujem još ovakvih goodiesa :D

  • @redrumtd
