Why did Joseph Smith the first Mormon prophet take women in marriage that were already married to other men? These women continued to live with their first husband and have children with their first husband after they were married to Joseph. I don't see women marrying more than one man permitted by God in the bible.

@TheSingingurl100 Well, I don't know where you moved TO (haha), but I would say don't worry about it. There's tons of people, much more fun than just a ward dance, and even if you're shy, there's always someone to talk to. Just a thought though... if you ARE a little uncomfortable with meeting people, I would bring a friend if you can, or make sure someone you know is there. Dances aren't much fun without a friend on hand. :) Good luck.
