I watched this film in Russian when I was 12 lol. My mother always told me Tichonov if one of the best Russian actors of his generation. And I must say "это одна из самых романтичных и трогательных сцен советского кинематографа"

@JetteNbg Und jetzt es ist gefärbt (a remastered version in color is released)! Vielleicht kann man der neu Version in Deutschland auch schon kaufen. Leider bin ich nicht siher. Sorry for my German if I've made some mistakes.

Beautiful song. For those who do not know this is a flashback in the movie of what I believe was 10 years ago. The flashback is the last time he saw his wife which was arranged by the Soviet Secret Service. The song is written by Armenian Composer Mikael Tariverdiev.
