I am Turkish, last summer I visited Prague and Karlovy Vary and I loved there! Czech achitecture is amazing! I was feeling like I was in a fairy tale. I remember my days in Prague oftenly and I wanna go there again one day!

My great grandfather was an imigrant from Czechoslovakia and recently I have really been trying to learn more about my culture. I also might go to Prague next year, hopefully I will be able to visit Slovakia while I'm in the area. :D

@maryjuan23 Austria is more western than Czech Republic according to geographical measures. And Czech Republic is considered to be on the border between Central and Eastern Europe. There is no shame to be in Eastern Europe, because it's a unique region like no other on the face of the Earth! Long live Eastern Europe!

I don't see why it couldn't be run as a monarchy. It's certainly small enough that it would be manageable, and it would certainly help with corruption. Although after 300 years of Habsburgs and then another couple decades of communism, who would be king? He would have to be chosen from among the remaining nobility, so maybe Schwarzenbergs?
