This works on demo

does not on game but

in left 4 dead game when a player dies

open console and type kick Players name

note a bots name example bill Louis ect

once that happens and you don't see there skull to revive type sb_create bot

and you should fine the survivor in a room

note they will not just appear in font of you

you have to have sv_cheats 1 on

Then Enable Developer Console then go to it's cfg folder,search for config.cfg then type: bind F12 toggleconsole

F12 will now open/close console!

Dear Sora3100,after typing ent_fire !self setteam 3 etc.The console takes those commands,but nothing happens.I called a vote to start over campaign etc,but no dupe bots appear.You mentioned one would have to spam setteams etc.Thats where I am stuck and dont get it.Thanks for your quick reply,very kind of you.Best regards.

If you got Steam L4D Demo then: Steam -> Left 4 Dead Demo -> Properties -> Advanced Launch Options -> -console and then start game.After you started it type in: bind F12 "toggleconsole" And the your console is openable by pressing F12.

Because it's the console and I binded in to L4D bind F12 toggleconsole

To bind go To Steam

Left 4 Dead->Properties->Set Launch Options-> -console -> Go to game and bind in console bind KEY toggleconsole.
