Slash plays amazingly and I think in this music he's been just amazing...

Of course he is not jimi but he is great in his style and he didn't just copy the original, he remade the song to his playing style and I would like to see those who disliked making such a good remake of this GREAT song!!

It's a fact , slash is pretty overrated , but come on , let's face it , he's a really good guitarist . in my opinion , his writing is better than his playing . He did a good job in this performance , blended both his style and jimi's in his playing , it's really good .

@Flakevee You forgot, slash plays with heavy strings, a heavy pick, a high string action and an amp that completely shows mistakes so if u think hes overrated try using any one of them and i guarantee that you will notice the differance. Same with any other guitarists who dont use them.

I don't think that Slash, as a guitarist, is as suited to this song or style as many other guitarists otherwise would. For example, John Frusciante would have been able to pay a better tribute to Hendrix in terms of style and feel. However, that does not discredit Slash as a guitarist at all, if you think he's shit then you're a fucking idiot. And to that joker down there, Slash is definitely not the new Hendrix, and obviously Slash is better than Axl Rose because Axl Rose is an egotistical cunt
