@Raikesi70 I'm english, was referring more to superleague tbh, a lot of emphasis on keeping the ball alive and moving as a team instead of kicking it to touch
@snapcracklecal Difference is these are quality teams playing and to score that standard of try against one of the best European teams is what makes immense. I guarantee none of the shitty tries that come out of your country gets 65,000 views.

as a leinster man i've got to say, that was one of the best tries i've seen in the heineken cup...hope the scarlets produce that in the next round of the hec!
@jacks14fit he's playing at 9 so he doesn't have to be between the 5 and 15, only within about 2m of the line out and onside, which he is both when its thrown so :/
if preistland hadnt been injured and if warburton hadnt been sent off in the semis wales would have won the world cup. hook and davies were no match for priestland whatsoever
@Nieghorn I second that. Samo's was a decent try, but was technically fairly simple -just an individual getting the better of a couple of defenders who were caught napping.
THIS is an incredible try, a real team effort with moments of individual brilliance thrown in. The rip at the lineout, the angles of running, the awareness of each other's positions, the anticipation, number of options available to the ball-carrier with 2-3 blokes in close support all the time, the pace, the HANDLING!!!
@Raichu234 Scarlets had their second string out, too. I think you'll find that the decision on the forward pass was, in fact, correct. Look at the match stats.
@AlanIsHarmony oh yeah well Quins have won all their games for one reason. We score tries and they are all like that. We have a squad with a massive depth of talent and all of them can play rugby. Glad u beat Leicester though. Oh yeah and who actually won a trophy last season?
@AlanIsHarmony Mate you are fasinating! How dare you call me a football supporter! I have never watched that games for mugs in all my life! If you must know I do rugby reporting for my local paper so don't give me that bullshit! Coz all the teams have players out for the world cup please!! Spare me! Gloucester had a full side and we beat them er what...42-6! You have some nerve saying these things about my team i've been supporting all my life!
@AlanIsHarmony and don't you dare mention bloodgate. That has finished and is all over. I had nothing to do with it. It was all Dean Richards nothing with the team. Yeah but we got to the quarter finals of the HEC which is somewhere you'll never get oh and finishing second in our league...did you get there? I don't think so! You make me laugh. You have the audacity to call me a supported or football, you insult my team when I haven't reall insulted yours!
@AlanIsHarmony god what is your problem! Sorry to rant on but if you actually supported Quins you should know we had the heighest count of tries for three seasons in a row and that was because oh lets see the tries were bloody good, well maybe not to you but to thousands and thousands of Quins fans yes! Man I can't wait till we thrash you in the LV cup and Nick Evans can thrash preistland any day! Now shut it and leave me alone!
@AlanIsHarmony oh yeah and how come we came down to your ground and beat you 21-23 when we were 21-3 down! Excuses excuses! You should hear some of the rugby pundits talk about Quins when we score tries! We put 60 points past some teams in our league and trust me the premiership is no mugs game! I have been supporting rugby all my life and a rugby fan so the main reason I'm having a go is coz you called me a football supporter! Now go away!
Remember that Sky generally talk crap over anything in the Aviva. You may like to bear in mind that the quality of the England team is a direct consequence of your premiership, but the pundits tell everyone how wonderful it is, incessantly. They have a product to sell, so they're not going to say it's rubbish, are they? It's the most boring, stale rugby anyone's likely to see.
@AlanIsHarmony I have been supporting Quins since I was 7 you idget! Oh so your insulting the english league now! Look who's talking like the football supporter, refusing to admit that another team can actually play rugby. Are you in heinken cup this season? Did you finish in the top four of your league? If you did congrats but don't start chipping insults at the enlglish premiership when only 2 Quins players are in the england side!
@AlanIsHarmony it means idiot get with the times lol :P NO! I am talking about your team, not you numbskull! I'm glad we haven't got many players playing for england coz we win more games! All the more fun for us! There is only one reason why Quins are top of the premiership and teams without their best players is a week and pathetic excuse! Because we are the best at the moment! Deal with it XD
@Raichu234 " I'm glad we haven't got many players playing for england coz we win more games!"
Then:
" There is only one reason why Quins are top of the premiership and teams without their best players is a week and pathetic excuse!"
The first sentence shows that your use of "excuse" is incorrect. Other players being without their best players, as you observe, is the reason you're doing so well, so rather than an excuse, it's an explanation.
@barnymartin "...we have invested in our academy not foreign stars."
Good for you. Most clubs are doing this because they have to, particularlyy those who aren't actually making a profit. Which is most of them.
"and yet we are still missing players with experience". Apart from one or two teams (Sale, Glaws, etc), who isn't missing key players? It's pro rugby and missing players is all part of it. The measure of a team isn't what happens at the start of a season, it's about where you finish.
@AlanIsHarmony omg no! Just except Quins can play that kind of rugby and move on! We won again yesterday! 4 tries all good and one exactly like that! 8 from 8! Erm no Leicester lost recently with all their best players so ear your words. Sale had a full side when we beat them yesterday. get your facts right!
@Raichu234 So now, instead of your tries "all being like that", you scored 4 tries yesterday and only one of them was like that? Are Harlequins going off the boil? I suppose they must be!
So did Leicester not have any players at the RWC, then?
Again, as English isn't your first language, I was saying that Sale are one of the few teams who haven't lost a lot of players to RWC call ups. I wasn't saying they were better or worse. I couldn't care less what happens in the Aviva. It's of no interest.
@AlanIsHarmony omg stop putting quotes of my comments into yours. Make up your own argument instead of using mine geez! English is my first language u numbskul. Open your mind. If you are a true rugby fan you'll watch all kinds of teams in different leagues. I watch magners, 1st divison and below and obivously the premiership but there you go slaying my league again! Three of them were like that actually! Leicester had 2 players missing so when we beat them it wasn't a fluke!
@AlanIsHarmony Don't you say that that makes Quins rubbish as that has nothing to do with it! How many scarlets players play for wales?! I think 1! I don't insult your league! I watch magners league and love watching Leinster play coz we play like them when are backs are running riot! Oh man I'm looking foward to facing your team now! Come down to the Stoop and get us then! Go on! I'm done with you! Goodbye and long live the mighty Quins!
@Raichu234 "How many scarlets players play for wales?! I think 1!" I count 6.
"coz we play like them when are backs are running riot!" are/our? Is English not your first language?
"I... love watching Leinster play coz..." you get to see what fake injury tactics your coach will use this time.
;-)
Incidentally, Scarlets have been in two EC semis and four quarters. You are aware that rugby has been played in these islands since long before England won the RWC, yes?
@barnymartin Firstly, you're atlking out of your arse, because there's no such thing as the Celtic league. That ended about 8 years ago.
Glad you're happy with your league, but to qoute a friend of mine, from an email last week: "I'm sick of this game that English clubs continueto play, that has to be the most boring, negative rugby I've seen, regardless of the way Sky like to promote their product (and that's coming from someone who grew up watching Glaws playing ten man rugby)".
@GruffJones100 watch England vs Italy! Six nations mad! Quins score tries like that all day. Reason y we are on top of the league. Wehy is this always about England anyway. We play rugby get over it. Quins would take Scarlets anyday!
@luciano53688 Well how come we didn't see a try like this from one of the French teams on the weekend when Scarlets beat Castres, or when Ospreys beat Biarritz, or when Cardiff beat Racing Metro. The Welsh regions dominated the French teams.
@Ed17cellotape... I think your taking something that is tongue and cheek well too serious! At the end of the day purely from a rugby prspctive Wales & England are two county's that are neighbours so you are going to get a bit of banter and rivialry and i just think this guy was highlighting a differance in styles of play! Wales have mostly always played a flamboyant and open style game whereas England have always played a tight 10 man game (its got you to 3 WC finals & WC win!)...
@Ed17cellotape ...i just think this was beeing highlighted and i don't think you would see a team of predominantly english players score a try like this! Its not the english way thats all.. SORRY!!! I commend you though on supporting us in the WC semi final! All the best!
