@hellfencer La Masquerade Infernale is kind of like the 'Into the Pandemonium' of the 90's there's a reason you hear clown sounds, look up what a Masquerade is some time.I'm not sure how you can expect anything featuring Garm to sound like typical Metal, keep in mid this album was recorded around the time Ulver did 'Themes from the Marriage of Heaven and Hell" (another great album) I certainly hear the two influencing each other in places this album is a work of art...

I've heard the talk and rumors. I'd love to see Arcturus come back, but only with Garm back on vocals.  Vortex did well with Dimmu, but he sucked with Arcturus, all but this one song. I love his vocals here, but that's it. Trickster G is the vocalist that defined Arcturus, like so many other bands (Ulver and Borknagar to name two)...
