The Senator is right on top of this. In the end, we will all pay more on our premiums and the quality of health care we now receive will go down.
My only hope is that people realize what is happening and get the point. I have a blog on this. If you google Progressive capitalis and my name, you can find that page. It has a few vidios and several connections on the HR 3962, a long summary, and a short summary. It tells at the end what the taxes are by the page at the end of my blog.
I love the Republican plan... Let 11 million people go on government assistance that won't be enough to pay their medical bills (screw the rest who don't qualify), then encourage everybody to shop "across state lines," which will somehow make health plans affordable to people at or below the poverty line. Oh, wait, there's tort reform! That might reduce medical costs, um, a little... in a few years. Nice.
this is why we need a public option, let the premiums generated pay for it, not taxes. some of the public just won't be putting their insurance $ into an insurance entity concentrated on generating profits.
how much does humana, based in your home state, give to your campaign?-apparently enough to buy some influence to save them from competition from a public option.
funny how the bill isn't out yet people complain transparency in one breath yet say tax hike in the next when we havnt seen the Bill. isn't it funny lol and love how republicans in congress and senate say we should do away with Medicare anyone 52 and under who have put money into it all these years wont get it and they wish to get rid of it fully. Texas republican rep on hard ball says get rid of waist in Medicare,& the plan does so now repubs say dems against Medicare cant win can we lol.
Google "Progressive Capitalist H.R 3962" to find my blog on this.

this sounds like nothing but scare tactics.

Thank you Mr. McConnell. Keep fighting - we can't afford this bill. The govt needs to turn in their resignation.
