I always take an extra fishing pole with me when I go Catfishing here in the USA. Carp are tenacious fighters! The biggest I've caught is probably between 10-12 pounds. I love catching them.  Good job landing your catch.

I landed a 15lb 3oz Wild Carp in ireland earlier this month, landed 4-6 hollow elastic!! 4lb line and a 18 hook!... My top tik is in 5 pieces now and i had to pull it in by hand as i had no leverage with the snapped top kit!

Lol, an 8 elastic? i use a 16 for fish like that size, so much easier, i would use a 4-8 on canals for small fish upto 2lb, well done on the carp :)

wikid video man , if you get snagged ur far from fucked. ship the pole back to ur top kit the lay ur landing net on top of ur elastic and pull worst ways ur hooklenth will snap but then its just a case of replaceing it. laying the net on your elastic stops the elastic pinging at you and stops you getting a pole float through your finger keep up the gd work and tightlines hope this helps you out a bit :)
