The quality of the sound as it was translated to video was lost. There was a pinching sound in the upper registers.Overall, I thought it was beautiful especially considering the small number of people in the choir. They seem to play wonderfully off each other. Congrats!

Exactly my thoughts...nearly verbatim...
It bothers me because as you say they have very good tone and great intonation...at least as far as I've heard it.
This takes away the legato line in many places...it sounds like they are practically stopping and putting a rest in there. This is a beautiful piece.

I was in the LMU Concert Choir and we premiered O Nata Lux and we were honored to have Lauridson come to a rehearsal to here his music performed.
