beautiful. you have the voice of an angel. thank you so much for sharing this. it is one of my favorite songs, and i have always wanted to play it on the autoharp, but i am just beginning and have very little music sense.
would you be willing to share the fingerings? i'd love to play this for the man who saved my life.
My friend that was sooo beautiful, you always bring tears to my eyes, the Folk Song does that to me, sure hope it doenst this Sat, the ending gets me every time lol. Hope your well
I would love to sing this with you. Give me a few years to learn the guitar, and we'll go, okay? J/K, but you did very well with the song and music, and I give you thumbs up adn kudos aneverything else.
yeah, when people say i'm amazing or something when i play guitar, bass, and piano, im like, "what about the people who play the harp", or some 'obscure' instrument.
you are great at this instrument, and your singing is really beautiful.
haha, this is awesome! i play the autoharp but i only saw A Mighty Wind a few weeks ago. my friend sent me the sheet music and this has been on my list of songs to learn. you do a great job with it!
The only reason Catherine O'Hara plays the autoharp is because she was cast for the role of Mickey in this movie. She learned for the role. Also, O'Hara is an actress, not a singer. She did a fantastic job, but it is no stretch that this young lady can outsing her any day of the week
It is very good, and it has a certain amateurish charm, but it's a stretch to say that it's better than Catherine O'Hara (who also plays the autoharp). I think it's better as a duet and a but of guitar makes the autoharp sound even better.
Amazing, isn't it? How a song written as part of a "joke" is actually very moving and powerful. My fiancee died almost two years ago, and as she lay in her hospital bed, fading, I sang this song to her over and over. Thank you for sharing your talent, in this lovely rendition.
Well, Jane, your fame has now got to Australia! Your singing and playing is just beautiful; better than the original from the film. I look forward to seeing what you do in future.......more videos please!
Do you know Kris Kristofferson's "The Hiring Fair"? I 'm sure you'd like that one....also Sting's "Fields of Gold".....

Wow. Very impressive! I love A Mighty Wind, and I really liked your arrangement of this song, it was very pretty. Well done!

Yay, good for you for picking up an obscure instrument and learning to play it well!
And a great song to pick as well! Next, you should learn, "When you're next to me" by Eugene Levy, a song that he wrote for a Mighty Wind.

What do you mean? Catherine O'Hara also sang in the Nightmare Before Christmas. It's not like a Mighty Wind was her first singing role or anything.
