  • O_o

  • so in these shield breaking vids, is the opponent stuck in their shield the whole time?

  • @urbannnnnnn1 yes

  • can you wavedash at 64?

  • @juiey2 no

  • DJC is awesome.

  • How do you do that? O_O

  • so can anyone do this in real life.

  • @lonewander3931 Go up to the search bar in youtube and type "Isai Super Smash Brothers" or "Isai SSB"

  • There is nobody in the world that is better than me with Ness, on the original N64

  • @goldengoalie28 bold statement, lets ness battle.

  • @Mr2seed dude if its for N64 i am game, i can never find anyone that can come close to beating me, dont mean to toot my own horn. Ive won a shit load of tournys and i always have at least 2 lives left haha, but if your anywhwere close ill play haha

  • @goldengoalie28 I bet I know a guy...

  • SSB64, back when the Yo-Yo could actually do something.

  • @IndigoR

Hyun vs. Terkoiz. All i will say.

  • @mickchaaya

    dude, we're brethren of rhg.

    Brothers UNITE!

    Love ness.

  • How do you get the shield to get stuck? Like its kinda easy to roll out of ness' shield break, but how do you get it to where even if you let off the z trigger, your shield is still up, thus breaking it?

  • @mikethesmooth attack faster. less time between hits

  • @mikethesmooth djc... thats all you really need to do to shield break with ness

  • @Fireblaster1112

i admit, you can easily block ness by hitting his PKT with something, but if your a just a little too low, you arent going to make it back with link, unles you happened to pluck a bomb soon before your hit, and it happens to explode right after you try to recover

which even then you could still not make it if your off to the side or your damage is to low

how about we just agree that skilled users can recover with both, and end it?

    flame wars bore me

  • @papermarioTTYD12345 sorry fires right

  • @Fireblaster1112 i used to mauin link, and my friend uses ness somewhat often (basically when i used captain falcon)

and i have learned that link cant recover for shit

very little vertical movement, and a bit horizantal movement

and you can rarely actually grab a ledge with it

    its shit

  • @Fireblaster1112 actually link has the worst recovery, hands down

  • how do you use the yoyo

  • it is just the smash

  • fuck TAS

    GO n64

  • I think ness is high tier who cares about a gimpable recovery when the majority of combos are 0-death

  • Ness is already in the high tier.

  • Sometimes he is placed in low tier, sometimes high tier

  • umm how do u do that?

  • Jump, double jump, do an aerial. Ness' double jump will cancel, and you'll do an aerial really close to the ground.

  • Its kinda hard to do sheild breaker combos without TAS, but Cool Vid though

  • It's easy to do the Dair-only shield break without TAS. It's also easy to break shields with Kirby, because you can just spam his Up Tilt and then Forward Smash.

  • True True

  • Nice vid

  • What tier was Ness again?

  • Top tier, third best under Pikachu and Kirby.

  • This is heavily disputed. Most high level players will tell you Ness stands much lower. Below Falcon and Fox, anyway.

  • Agreed. Below a lot of people, really. His recovery is so easily gimped.

  • Then how did you lose to a bad ness in that tourny???

  • cuz i apparently suck at tournaments lol

also, i was stupidly sticking with falcon for the first 2 games V_V i should've gone fox :(

*has no faith in fox skills* lol

  • Fox is a hit or miss character. I suck with him =(

If all else fails, I just go kirby and play gay haha or I play samus and dair/bair spam

  • Not anymore he isn't lol. Now Ness is 9th tier and really for good reason because of how punishable his up B is.

  • @moogle68 he's 9th primarily because his approaches have horrible range so even though he can almost always 0-death you off any hit, it's very unlikely that he'll even be able to land the initial hit. PKT is bad, but it's not the primary reason for his drop.

  • @fatAvariceX The only character in smash 64 that should ever make it back to the stage is Pikachu. Everybody else has shitty recoveries lol. That makes sense why Ness dropped.

  • @thesagem kirby and jiggly both have good recoveries just based on the fact that they have 5 jumps. jiggly in particular has a really good horizontal recovery.
