to be honest, i would of thought that only mario fans would be looking up this video, and most should know that if you enter without 70 stars the stairs become endless, i just completed this via the back jump glitch and fuck it was amazing! I mean i thought surely not this wont work you have to have a cheat but i did it then i was like WOW!

The door at 0:08 I mean. It always lets you through even if you get to that door legitly with less than 70 stars even though the door says you need 70 stars to get through that door.

@AddictiveGames No, they're asking why is it that by default the door says you need 70 stars to enter, then it lets you through to door to even get to the stairs. I know that's not a glitch because it's part of the game. It just doesn't let you go all the way up though. I always found it funny it says you need the stars to enter and you can still get in hehe.

It's possible to beat the game with 16 powers stars, there's a video on it and I've tried it and it worked. The way he went through the endless staircase is through BLJ (Backward long glitch).

@darktornado78 was it on your n64 cuz i did it and i had to find a better controller because they have a problem with there analog sticks. but it worked for me. it still was hard because my finger was moving at a rapped passe but it does work

@Bump465 well actually yeah and no. while u walk up the stairs u get teleported down the stairs and as u can see with the speed of mario that that was part of the glitch.

use Z+A = Crounch and jump when you are fast, go backwards, then keep holding Z and keep pressing A.
