@2205678 well it depends on alot of things but I have a 96 trans am with 87k miles on it at the moment. It gets about 22 or so mpg on the highways but city driving is not all that great. 15-17mpg. Fuel tank is 15.5 gallons so do the math with your local fuel prices and you'll have your answer.

shoulda put the original SLP TOTL catback on! i love that look , something different from duals out da back and gives it an element of stealth. Plus it sounds great for non true duals

@ganjayoyokilla The car in this vid has a Ram Air Intake by SLP. You are better off with a Cold Air Intake over a Ram Air anyway, Even with the SS hood.
Holly Crap, he did get an SLP sticker mentioning the LT4 engine, I must join you on that question even though I responded to you before thinking he actually didn't have such a sticker. Two options in my opinion : 1- car after accident and he took the door off. 2- He called slp on behalf of a true owner to order a new sticker (Even though I think it's impossible and not sure if SLP even make these stickers any longer).

97camaroowner....most 97s DID have the speakers in the back hatch area...only some were made w/out them..and those are the ones that came with the basic stereo..the premium sound system came with the 2 speakers in the hatch
Well if it was a true 97 z28 or coupe beforew he made a clone then it would have already had those tailights. The 97s had every thing a 98 had except the front of course, and two speakers in the trunk

@tonycbrman True but the SLP ones have a thicker flange on the tips compared to the ebay ones. ebay ones had a better center but there is no flange at the end of the tip on the ebays and doesn't give it a meaner look.
but to each his own I say, if the SLP had the reinformences from factory as the ebays ones have I would hands down get them but hey thats what TIG welders are for :P

SLP labels are custom made. IF you notice the serial number is 101. SLP only made 100 US models.

You can only get the SLP CME from the forums since there discontinued for around $700 $750 or you can get the ebay crap ones for around $300 on ebay

EBay CME are far better than the SLP ones. SLP did not reinforce the center and they constantly broke.
