The 'city' area, is nothing more than a shopping Plaza with all the characters and events you ARE SUPPOSED TO GO BACK TO THE GAME AND PARTICIPATE IN, therefore ruining the excitement of going back for certain events. it has the same music and graphics the DS game too, though a bit sharper. It is good for those who have never played before but for everyone else it is a kick in the teeth for hardcore/long time players. there is no exscuse for this laziness.

City Folk is from United States, where as Let's go to city is for Europe + oceania.

Let's Go To The City is in Europe and Australia, and City Folk is in North America.

it has to be possibly the laziest game in history. basically the director just chucked Wild World onto a desk of some developers and said " make this for the Wii", you cant even use an american copy of Animal crossing on a uk wii, the city is a shopping plaza, ot a city at all, that incudes all the characters and features that MADE youu keep visiting the game to see and participate in, and you meet the people coming to your town there. therefore the 'city' element spoils a lot of the game.

There are actually many differences. There are better holidays, and the graphics are much better than Wild World. You can also get a fountain and a windmill/lighthouse. And to top it off, there's a city. Was any of that in Wild World? Nope =).

u need to take both acww and acgc into account.

There is halloween and christmas in acgc along w/ a bunch of other things that don't show up in accf.

U have a lighthouse in acgc and there's a well in acgc 2 (i'd have to say it's a lot better then accf)

Sure the graphics seem better, but i'm will to be it's mostly due to playing on a bigger screen.

And the city is a piece of trash. There's redd's, theather, gracie, shoe, katrina, harriet, and resetti at night (if your lucky)

I SIMPLY CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME TO COME OUT! I am so glad, they have made some amazing modifications like taking your DS characters and allowing them to be transfered into the Wii version. This game looks like a lot of fun. I also want to try out the theater and the option where you can get a makeover to look like a Mii!!

IN CASE, you didn't know, It's supposed to be primarily ACGC, with ACWW Added into it, obviously with added surprises such as new furniture, new clothes, even new VILLAGERS! :D I wonder if theirs gonna be a THIRD octopus, like ACGC had Octvian, WW added Marina, they should have another one of each gender. one should be green. I'm looking forward to this game, I can hardly even stop typing! And also in case you didn't know, the skunk is the shoe shine boy that miraculously changes your shoe color

Well the city looks cool, and I can't wait for Wii Speak. Some of the furniture is new as well. But the same gameplay is exactly the same as the original for N64. But if you buy the Animal Crossing-Wii Speak bundle, you can get Wii Speak for only $10 as compared to $30.

I`m iffy about the city. it looks so small from what we`ve seen. I feel like the city will lose its charm in a week or two. then its just playing the game like a point and click version of ww and gc put together.

i`m praying for tons of new features. way more than we`ve been shown. Because when the small city and little extra features get old, youll just be playing the ac game you got bored of in 2006/07

Main thing im let down by is NO GCN Port. Im so used to that control scheme though ;_( I hope they change their minds. If not, i better get use to a Wii/Nunchuk (something i never really liked)
