I've always loved this movie. Then, I read the Cracked article.

I've got to ask, though, isn't there another way to interpret Santa's yelling at Donner: "You should be ashamed of yourself!"? I think of it as a "You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to cover up his nose like that!" Am I clearly not supposed to think of it that way?

@pawn4RHPS I was actually coming onto the youtube page to ask the same thing! Even though there isn't that much evidence supporting it (Santa STILL kicks Rudolph out, or at least doesn't actively do anything to help him), I always believed that he was admonishing Donner for hiding Rudolph's nose.
