  • @genjutsugaara Uhm no. I tink he's a singh?

  • It gave me a heart attack e 1st time I heard the dim sum dollies

  • Why PCK become inconsiderate? around 0:36.

  • @SBS9067A Supposed to be 0:35, sorry.

  • I'm guessing they filmed this on the paya lebar middle platform because there is NO way SMRT has time to do this on their normal platform

  • @AlvinPhilemon Filmed at Dhoby Ghaut MRT.

  • @AlvinPhilemon

This was done before the opening of the CCL3 (marymount - bartley), The scenes where you see the platform is at Bishan, whereas the scenes where they're in the train is most likely at the Kim Chuan Depot (Normal tunnels won't have yellow flashing lights, as seen outside the train windows)

  • Gurmit too old to rap but it's good lol

  • thanks PCK! Singaporeans need this message

  • What's with all those people saying, 'oh it's sad that Singaporeans need to have all these adverts to teach them how to be gracious'. I take the public transport almost every day and I see people giving up their seats to those in need quite frequently, even before this campaign started. Those people that the video is talking about are mostly minorities, not all Singaporeans are inconsiderate.

  • HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • thank god that horrible dim sum dollies jingle is over... people just stand around awkwardly whenever it is being played.

  • i think i want this better than love your ride.

i sick of getting on the train whenever the music start

  • 0:16 oi pck go wrong way!

  • 0.32 she sooo pretty:D chio bu...nice vid:D

  • Lol

  • You rock Hey you over there don"t cut q

  • so funny

  • If Singapore made something serious, people wouldn't take it seriously.

But for a start, good english would've been nice. I'm glad that at least there are initiatives now calling for more gracious commuters.

  • From 0:12-046 is the best part

  • Circle Line in 2009: Bartley => Marymount. Now 2010: Dhoby Ghaut => Marymount

  • ONE OF THE BEST SONG

  • This is better than the DAM SUM DILLIES

  • lol proud to be singaporeean when got this kind of actors from our country! :D

  • LTA is out of touch.. if it thinks by making some crappy MTV can solve overcrowding in our MRTs, then we have a reason to worry..

  • @muhddzar Not all Singaporeans are like you.

  • I like Singapore and Singaporean people,I been there six times.

  • Sucks, man... Cannot create something more serious???

  • Seriously, would you listen to someone like PCK tell you to be gracious? He's the last person anyone would take seriously.

  • it always sounds like "a happy journey,SUCKS like that!"-.-

  • it says so much about Singaporeans if they actually have to create a rap to get them to understand basic manners!

  • 0:37 Rosy Phua is gonna be so pissed of if she see PCK doing that.

  • -....-'

  • i like the rap

  • THIS IS AWESOME <3

  • i miss pck. dim sum dollies are damn annoying.

  • @swordrodaxegun PCK worse ):

  • @cebastiankoh I am not insulting, just a reflection. I am singaporean myself. It happened to me before when i was 8 mths pregnant. Was in a super crowded bus but no one gave up thier seats. And i was in a position where i couldnt get hold of anything to prevent myself frm falling. I nearly fell. Happened to me twice actually. I think i am not the only one who experienced that.

  • @nongkeropong I think the situations nowadays has really greatly improved~

  • 0:23 Thats stupid. Knocking outside the bus and Scared out a bf and gf

  • Love it

  • I love it!

  • i think this is way better than the dim sum dollies adn i don know why..

  • Great video to step up courtesy in the train.

Isnt it a shame that we still have people pretending to sleep when they saw pregnant woman or elderly person standing in front of them?

    Why are Singaporeans so inconsiderate?

  • @nongkeropong in other words selfish

  • @nongkeropong are you insulting us singaporeans!?

  • Gurmit SINGH, please go back to your father's roots and stop destroying the minds of teenage Singaporeans. Thanks.

  • @poisonedporkchop Gurmit is known for being able to toggle between Singlish and standard English well. You should check him out before telling him off. Thanks.

  • @CynnedCynner Wow...you're defending Gurmit Singh? Interesting. All I said was "go back to your roots and stop destroying the minds of Singaporean teenagers". I didn't even make a comment about his lacking ability to "toggle" between Singlish and English. I'm speaking about the character he portrays on TV. Please read my comment carefully before typing nonsense. Thanks.

  • @poisonedporkchop so i suppose, now you're getting racist and expect him to keep to his singh roots?

  • Don't block me lar lol

  • the most dummest shit i ever saw.

  • @MrShownofear If you go to Singapore they have posters on buses with Phua Chu Kang on them saying 'be gracious' Its kind of like a campaign. You would understand it better..

  • @MrShownofear u then dumb

  • Wow! Got disco light in mrt

  • My last name is Phua (:

  • Comment removed

  • ruiirei94 is quite right my mom says that in elevators r the same & i agree lets use a box 4 example if lots of tissues r all stuffed inside there is no space 4 more 2 go in SERIOUSLY PEOPLE WAKE UP no really wake up ilovejungsoo is right !!!

    Tissues:People

Box:Elevators/Mrt/Bus/......... & bla bla bla etc etc etc

  • I don't think this rap is effective enough. Still got alot of people pretend to sleep lor.

  • Don't play play

  • i saw the dim sum dollies, and they sound better ah.

  • and PCK is totally the best person in the world to be lecturing us on this. =.=

  • is it successful?

this campaign to help the old n "handicapped" on the trains?

  • he is funny

    i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee pua chu kangggg

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee pua chu kang

  • PCK best in three countries, lah! SG, MY and ID, lor!

  • addictive song, just a wee bit too short.

  • if only train rides were this fun and PCK started singing every time I board the train

  • O_O How come the lights are off at 0:38 and a funny light effect.. And they must ask the train driver to :P

  • oo rule broke... the little kid is sitting on the reserved seats... lols

  • love his yellow boots :D

  • I noticed when i was there Dec. '09...people dont give a crap. Still pushing and shoving. Too bad really.

  • sucks

  • @thedruglord get a life man

  • @MichaelJacksonwithJ5 i agree XD

  • @MichaelJacksonwithJ5 Alright this is giving me a very bad impression of singapore and people who support singapore. This video speaks of ungracious people who needs this 'artist' to tell them to move back. And that line, "Excuse me while i give you a kick!"

Wow and that man teaches singaporeans how to be gracious!

And when i put my honest opinion i'm told to get a life. Great...

  • @thedruglord no, this video is to teach singaporeans to follow the rules of the mrt and that line your were talking about.. it's funny. the video will be boring without humor

  • @BlateSemical well. Funny is subjective then. So is its educational value

  • I was wondering what if everyone dances like on 0:38 in the train? Epic scene?

  • hey you, pretending to sleep nodding and drooling on the reserved seat

haha this is my fav part

  • haha...

  • Singapore, the most innovative country in the world! THUMBS UP FOR THIS COMMENT!!!

  • im missing singapore so much ,lol ♥

  • I LOVE SINGAPORE!!!!

  • ya know even if you dont live in singapore you could relate to this video. It reminds me of a psa about train etiquette :D its true before you sit, see if old person or preggie chick needs to sit :D

  • nothing has changed. pck also cannot help . mrt riders are mostly pariahs in singapore. what a waste of money of taxpayers to build the mrt to include these pariahs who cannot even read the picture logos on mrt trains. call it the mrt rides with a bunck of B...t...ds.

  • eh....why the small boy sit on the special seat at 0:56 and the ah ma sit nvr sit there...lol

  • why u people are so busy having racial comments? if u cant stand asians, why bother watching this vid?

  • Comment removed

  • He created a new laungauge..... SINGLISH

  • @FireDX1 dont pray pray.

  • ... this video is really useless even though it is made, just take a bus or the MRT and count the bloody number of old folks and pregnant woman standing up. Try counting them with your 10 fingers and toes, it can't even cover an eighth of the number at all

  • what a joke. singaporeans need all this adv to teach people to be gracious.

  • @powerpuffcurry its called creativity.....

  • @powerpuffcurry yeah!i agree!Even people in my country(myanmar)would give up seats without a hesitation!these sg ppl need a bit 'lessons'.....

  • to JaymsStapleton

Americans move out of Iraq 'lah'!

  • hey in 0:57 , the auntie should sit in the reserved seat, and not the kid

  • Im interested to know - what do you call this weird chimpanzee language you singaporeans speak? It's original and fascinating; like it's interesting to know that since asians cant speak proper English, they create their own parody of it. Quite a good idea too since there is no way asians are gonna be developed enough to roll their tongues around certain words. Maybe it's a good idea for the US to do that to asian languages if we ever feel interested enough to learn it =/

  • @JaymsStapleton go take some linguistics classes, you racist dope.

  • @babyboyblue87 What the fuck? I didnt say anything racist. I was actually complimenting you singaporeans.

  • @JaymsStapleton I usually wouldn't bother with people like you, but you seem genuinely ignorant that you were making racist comments. So here goes. Many Asians can speak standard English as well as, or often better than, Americans. Singlish is not a parody of English but a local variant that works well for communication.

'...there is no way asians are gonna be developed enough' and 'weird chimpanzee language' is offensive. Don't fucking tell me you were giving anyone a compliment.

  • @babyboyblue87 You clearly have not been to America if you think many asians can speak better standard English than Americans. Or perhaps you have, but assumed that since we cannot understand that blabbering stutter of a chinky language (if that even deserves to be called a language), you think your style of communication is better. But then again, asians know only to think inside their own box, hey?

  • @JaymsStapleton its called singlish :)

  • @messwithfuntion Finally an asian who understands enough English to answer my question. Thanks mate. How did that 'singlish' come about anyway?

  • @JaymsStapleton im not quite sure about the history of singlish, you can check wikipedia for answers. even i'm going to wiki it now :p

  • @JaymsStapleton

English became the lingua franca. Over time, elements from the other languages spoken here influenced it, thus the dialect called singlish. Basically, a diversion of language over time and injected with local flavours. The unique aspects of singlish like some words, some sentence structures and the 'lah's and 'leh's come from several chinese dialects, malay, indian...

  • @thesolarwings Wow asians seem to rot everything they come in contact with. Languages included. But hey if their inferior minds arent capable to processing Western languages like any human being, I guess it's fair to say they will need to add their own modifications to it =/

  • @JaymsStapleton I think in this case, it's more like colonised countries rather than asians :) You should check out Pidgin languages that covers other parts of the world like Hawaii, Papua New Guinea, the Jamaican Creole etc. Oh, speaking of inferior minds vs Western languages, I think there was a protest in the US during a spelling bee competition about how hard English language is to some American citizens. Worth the check ;) My English partner said some English people can't read English too.

  • @kinkygrrrl19 Dont worry asian lowbreed I dont even bother to learn them useless pidgin languages. And yeah, obviously some English people cant read English, or Americans citizens who also struggle with the language...those are the asian or black immigrants who snitched themselves a Western passport. What a waste of space, really.

  • @JaymsStapleton That's alright :) I hope you don't breed either, at least I know I'm not or probably adopting a kid to not add to the human population who is full or racist people like you. I dedicate to you Manic Street Preacher's song "If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next". Even though the song is about fascism or Spanish civil war, but this applies to racism as well. I only thought you wanted to learn, it seems not. So I will not waste my time on you and hope all is well.

  • @kinkygrrrl19 I didnt say anything racist you inferior asian. But yeah if you wanna walk, then walk. Cya hero

  • @JaymsStapleton Nope, the protest I'm referring to was organized by American Caucasians. But I have nothing against them. It's just how the world evolve nowadays with usage of quick need to spell like "i pt u, u r so dmb". End of sharing info. I got no time to spare for people who spread hatred, especially behind a screen.

  • AWASOME I CAN SING :P
