I had always been a big fan of the Toyota Land Cruiser, particularly of the 1987 through 2002 models

You can tell by the headights. The ones on this vehicle are square which was the 'new' design for the FJ62, the FJ60's headlights were round.

They didn't make an FJ60 in 1988, I think that you're mistaken. Toyota began the FJ62 line in 1988 through 1990.
