@FireOps Yes, in this video it was a giant static mesh but since then I changed it and now I have a sphere for the planet and a different mesh for each different wall part (one for each row). I'm spawning the walls based on the maze algorith I made. This way I don't have to model the maze and it can be different every time you replay it.
@Capeau That would be nice but I'm affraid it's not possible. Because the area is smaller as you get closer to the poles and the number of walls is the same they have to be smaller to fit. As long as I make the walls look nice I don't see this as a problem.
what i would do is add a timer so players can eat their times, and maybe penalize points for touching walls which might work well with the ball controls. then at the end of level you can convert time to points however you like and substracts points for touchng the walls
just trying to give ideas in case you are still considering posibilities :)
Great work, youv'e got the foundations all set out for you, but you'll need obstacles too, some sort of an enemy or something to give you a sense of urgency, or else the player would just lose interest quickly !
i get sick watching this

Cool stuff man! Is the whole big sphere rotating or is the ball rolling around the sphere?
AntonKlock 11 months ago
@AntonKlock The small ball is rolling around the sphere. Will add a camera delay in the near future that will make that more obvious.

I assume this is one giant static mesh, isnt it?

u should at least adjust the topology of the sphere so the faces/poly's are uniform

@andrei313yt
Well that is only when you use a stadard sphere in 3ds max or maya, but not if you model your own... thats the whole point of my comment

cool, but make it a chase cam, and a globe world with a player model! Then, I'll beg for project files ^^
