What the hell? Contrahab! It doesn't help when Koivu has to play with Higgins who isn't producing and may still not be 100% and Ryder even being worse than usual. The only thing the guy does right is score and he can't even do that. Someone with real talen would be scoring 40 or 50 goals with Koivu those years Ryder was getting 30. Give Koivu a talented vet in his prime and he'd score alot. Besides, you pick a bad time to get on him, he hass 11 points in the last 12 games.

Yeah,let's face it,Mtl have a hard time making 9th-10th position.How are they gonna finish 6th anymore.But i think that with some of the young players we drafted,we should be a pretty good team in the future.Carey Price won't let us down.He has the Patrick Roy aspects.Roy was everything for Mtl back in the day.Maybe it's the Leadership aspect that Price will be lacking.He is a cool,calm,quiet type of guy compared 2 Roy who was more emotional.

You won't see a cup in Montreal for a very good while. The economics of the game and the number of teams present has changed. It's a lot harder to get inside the heads of players because most are just looking for the money. The pride is no longer there...so management can't really do much. It was cute and cuddly when the Adams Division only had 5 teams...Montreal made the playoffs almost every year...now it's all different, they're fighting against a whole conference.
