I lived 2 blocks from maimonaides for 15 years, my mother still lives there and has worked there for 22 years. My sister has worked there for 2 years, I know from personal experience that nonjews are looked down upon in the hospital, many of the jewish people there refuse to acknowledge that nonjews even exist, when i was 7 i was yelled at and almost slapped by a jewish man because i was playing with a group of jewish boys. This isnt what the torah teaches, the busy ER SHOULD be about equality
It comes down to DISCRIMINATION when the Hospital accepts federal and state funding ie Medicaid and Medicare.. It is accepting taxpayer funds therefore falls under the federal guidlines governing the treatment of patients ie no preferential or lack of treatment based on Race, Religion, sexual orientation etc... If you want a hospital for the community that is fine but stop accepting tax paying dollars...

Since the book Hospital was researched the ER has been expanded and modernized. No patient in the ER waits 24hrs to be evaluated. that's just a lie.
