G4 turns all nintendo and sony games into underated titles. Seriously! I cannot stand them. They provided Legend of Zelda with a completly unfair review. First off the graphics were slightly better then Twilight princess. Personally the controls were what got to me but they are still really good. The story line was amazing and the gameplay was so much fun. It doesnt have the fancy graphics but if thats all videogames should be about i would have stopped playing them long ago.
Zelda won viewers choice on g4 and they still bashed skyward sword and said it only won because it was not nominated for xplay's game of the year and pissed off nintendo fans creating multiple accounts to vote.
Calling G4TV And xplay trolls is an understatement because they are nothing but xbox and PC fanboys who bash nintendo and sony!!!!

@ronvnkl232 You should go for some of the smaller reviewers, they provide much better reviews than those biased "major" reviewers. Among my favorites are : Kwing of coarse ;P ZeigeistGameReview, GameKing53, AngryJoeShow and ElderGeekDotCom
All rather, give unbiased reviews. Though with different styles. ZeigeistGameReview reviews most new games. While GamKing53 does older nintendo games. AngryJoeShow also covers new game. And ElderGeekDotCom review new games but also most smaller indie games!

I was personally expecting a Skyrim to be game of the year but with Zelda being placed on the same side of the bracket, I think we all knew what G4 was playing at. If Skyrim were placed on the other side, I think we both know it would be Skyrim and Skyward Sword in the finals. Not saying that AC isn't a good title at all, but Skyrim's plot and formula hasn't been beaten half to death and Skyward Sword still manages to retain nostalgia while keeping the game fresh and enjoyable for all.

But its airs The Office for two hours straight though.

The whole Subscription Glitch is still there and it seems like the Upload Button on Youtube is glitching up for me. When I click on it, it won't load even when I go to the old design, I can't remove the boxes that say " Upload to 15 minutes" and such, I can't enter my channel from there and when I try to report the problem, it always says there's an error. Somebody help me because I don't know what's going on or if anyone else has this problem

So I went to the G4 page to vote for Zelda,and what I saw in the comments is one of the few things in the world that genuinely anger me. The comments are filled with people saying "How did Zelda get here it's a KIDS game?", and "Why isn't BF3 up here?", also "Good thing VGAs are determined by a committee sorry zelda fanboys XD" I don't normally get mad over peoples' opinions on videogames, but when you call something like Zelda a kids' game it just really gets to me, y'know? :\
I guess G4 has to think about it's ratings, so they give review scores people wanna see. Think about, who here wan't a tad offended when GameSpot gave Skyward Sword a 7.5? Were mostly Nintendo fans here so that's really what we didn't want to hear, and since G4 is targeted at gamers as a whole, and the masses of gamers play FPS, sports, and games like that they just need to say those are good and everything else sucks. It's not a very professional thing to do but I guess they need the ratings.

@highlander5523 I cant argue with you there. But it still doesnt mean they hate it. If anything, there are more things to be mad about such as the neglect they have also been giving to another game that was revolutionary. LittleBigPlanet2 and another game, Rayman Origins. They simply try to appeal to dempographic. Go in the comment section of the deathmatch and look at the kind of people that watch G4. They also give a great game like Uncharted 3 a 4/5, but MW3 a 5/5! Also, why is Cops on G4???

Tv personalities, they couldn't review there way out of a paper bag. There wisdom in the profession is laughable. The constant mistakes they make prove, that they really don't know anything. It's ok to have an opinion, but to do this "professionally" you have to know what your taking about. Cross referencing past games and there mechanics etc. But X-Play use to be, though that was back when I was in college...a long time ago.

@TheLPFan1000 No, IGN is somewhat fair in their reviews. G4 does all their reviews like a publicity stunt with really stupid humour that makes you cringe. I would never categorise IGN in the same level as X-play.
@MsMariosonic I read the Destructoid review, and I must say, Jim Sterling had some fair points, but what bothers me is he was expecting too much for the series to change. COD hasn't changed that much and they give MW3 a 9.5. It just shows that Jim's personal taste is reflected more than reasonably scoring the games. I would have been happier if he didn't score them at all, or at least, a 7-8, to show that they both haven't changed much, but are still fun for most core fans. Not a serious scorer!

I have a few Zelda games I don't like...ok more then a few. That I wouldn't give perfect scores too. There only a few Zelda games I would give a 10/10 That was ALTTP, OOT and Skyward Sword. I think I may have given LOZ a 10 as well can't remember. The other games I are maybe 9's or 8. Skyward Impressed me the most this year. I was ready to give Batman GOTY, but that was souly based on all the additional content.

Assassin's Creed contains an amazing story! I really do love AC's universe and everything involved in it. One of the most well-done games to date. I do hold the Legend of Zelda series at the top of my favorite series of all time. I think G4 has become VERY biased and I don't go by them anymore. They have given CoD a 5/5 for all games since the first Modern Warfare I believe. Still we can see their bias and I refuse to accept their ratings! KWING Forever ;D

@AshXXMayftw I am a fan of gaming and the medium itself, I do nto take sides (personally Skyward Sword would be my game of the year, and it is the first game on the current gen of consoles to make for top 5 games of all time list) I took the problem with the jab because it is a childish things to do and insults not only people who like AC but anyone who tries to stand up for zelda also. That was my problem with it.

How amusing, Kwing, thinking that G4 will go back on their word. No, what will probably happen is Skyward Sword will win, and then the Sess will sit their mumbling angrily while Webb realizes for the fortieth time this week that she has absolutely no idea what is going on. Also, I'm probably getting Xenoblade from GameStop anyways, but mostly because a couple of buddies of mine work there.
The thing is Wii games cane still come out since Wii U is backwards compatible.
I expect we will see a good year for Wii in 2012. Games like The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, Earthseeker, Rodea the Sky Soldier, Dragon Quest Collections, Dynamic Slash, etc should all be out in 2012.

So I went to the G4 page to vote for Zelda,and what I saw in the comments is one of the few things in the world that genuinely anger me. The comments are filled with people saying "How did Zelda get here it's a KIDS game?", and "Why isn't BF3 up here?", also "Good thing VGAs are determined by a committee sorry zelda fanboys XD" I don't normally get mad over peoples' opinions on videogames, but when you call something like Zelda a kids' game it just really gets to me, y'know? :\

I guess G4 has to think about it's ratings, so they give review scores people wanna see. Think about, who here wan't a tad offended when GameSpot gave Skyward Sword a 7.5? Were mostly Nintendo fans here so that's really what we didn't want to hear, and since G4 is targeted at gamers as a whole, and the masses of gamers play FPS, sports, and games like that they just need to say those are good and everything else sucks. It's not a very professional thing to do but I guess they need the ratings.

@kNIGHTWING01 I really hope Zelda wins, That'll tech X-play to nock down a games just becasue they've been around sence the day of the NES! It's like you said al long time ago "Some jsut got into gaming because it became popular." I'm pretty sure Morgan Webb and Possiblly Sesler fit that discriotion. I espeically hated they defenetly got a feminist to review Metroid: Other M. the game wasn't nearly what she said in the review she made. she just nagged that Samus took orders, like a soldier.

because skyward sword beat skyrim, uncharted 3, and batman AC, and (at this time) has a 40% lead on assassins creed revelations in there death match, they didnt put SS on any category except best music and best motion control game, it wasnt in most innovative, best art direction, game of the year, best gameplay, best action adventure, and more. if they dont hate the game, THEN WHAT IS THIS

@highlander5523 I cant argue with you there. But it still doesnt mean they hate it. If anything, there are more things to be mad about such as the neglect they have also been giving to another game that was revolutionary. LittleBigPlanet2 and another game, Rayman Origins. They simply try to appeal to dempographic. Go in the comment section of the deathmatch and look at the kind of people that watch G4. They also give a great game like Uncharted 3 a 4/5, but MW3 a 5/5! Also, why is Cops on G4???

Tv personalities, they couldn't review there way out of a paper bag. There wisdom in the profession is laughable. The constant mistakes they make prove, that they really don't know anything. It's ok to have an opinion, but to do this "professionally" you have to know what your taking about. Cross referencing past games and there mechanics etc. But X-Play use to be, though that was back when I was in college...a long time ago.

@MsMariosonic I read the Destructoid review, and I must say, Jim Sterling had some fair points, but what bothers me is he was expecting too much for the series to change. COD hasn't changed that much and they give MW3 a 9.5. It just shows that Jim's personal taste is reflected more than reasonably scoring the games. I would have been happier if he didn't score them at all, or at least, a 7-8, to show that they both haven't changed much, but are still fun for most core fans. Not a serious scorer!

I have a few Zelda games I don't like...ok more then a few. That I wouldn't give perfect scores too. There only a few Zelda games I would give a 10/10 That was ALTTP, OOT and Skyward Sword. I think I may have given LOZ a 10 as well can't remember. The other games I are maybe 9's or 8. Skyward Impressed me the most this year. I was ready to give Batman GOTY, but that was souly based on all the additional content.

I love skyward sword and though I'm still not done with the game I do believe it deserves to be game of the year. The reason I love it so much is because of how creative it is and honestly I've never seen another game like it. Assassin's Creed contains an amazing story! I really do love AC's universe and everything involved in it. One of the most well-done games to date. I do hold the Legend of Zelda series at the top of my favorite series of all time. I think G4 has become VERY biased and I don't go by them anymore. They have given CoD a 5/5 for all games since the first Modern Warfare I believe. Still we can see their bias and I refuse to accept their ratings! KWING Forever ;D

What's with the jab at Assassin's Creed, seemed completely unnecessary.
Also everytime i see that menu screen for Xenoblade Chronicles it makes me want to play the hell out of that game, too bad I don't have the time lately to play it even though I own it. So know everytime you show that I feel a little broken inside.

How amusing, Kwing, thinking that G4 will go back on their word. No, what will probably happen is Skyward Sword will win, and then the Sess will sit their mumbling angrily while Webb realizes for the fortieth time this week that she has absolutely no idea what is going on. But they will never say anything nice about a Nintendo game. Even at the end of the world. The thing is Wii games cane still come out since Wii U is backwards compatible.
I expect we will see a good year for Wii in 2012. Games like The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, Earthseeker, Rodea the Sky Soldier, Dragon Quest Collections, Dynamic Slash, etc should all be out in 2012.
