Taylor has always been one of my favorite slide players. It's amazing that to this day he still has that instantly identifiable sound. One note and you know it's him. It's in the hands...

@202pdiddy - No I don't expect a slap bass solo on every song - just some rythmnic qualities that help the tune drive and swing a little. There's loads of room for a decent bass player to add to the rythmn and overall feel - none of which is displayed by Bill Wyman in the least!

@klixxie It's a slow Jimmy Reed song they're playing here. A simple, unobtrusive bass line is exactly what this song demands. Wyman can't swing? Take a listen to Exile On Main Street, or for that matter any of the early Stones records.

@shimokita2 That's not true exactly. He played with them in 1981 and he may again. Keith is pissed at him for leaving and holds a bit of a grudge, but I think it will happen next tour with some appearances here and there.

as much as i wanted to see Captain Keith and Sir Mick onstage also, this may be the closet Wyman and Taylor get to an actual Stones "reunion" unfortunately....Wyman doesnt fly anymore and Taylor has had very recent health issues...something already suggested here though, would be a few shows at specific venues, that would be suitable enough...So make it happen Glimmer Twins!! Time waits for no one, and its definitely not on your side! (Unfortunately)
