In the video they show the map at different times does that mean there will be pretty much 3 maps for each map. What I'm saying is I play a map during the day and a few matches or a new lobby I could play the same map at night? Is this true cause if so bf3 will officially in my book be the king of FPS.

The Alpha trial had operation metro and it features 4 maps... The first one is a huge park setting in Paris and the last (my favourite) is when you come up from the subway and into the second part of the city...

@rollhunter Customize class with a med-kit and/or defibrillators. ^^ The Assault class supports this. Health regenerates by using those med-kits.

@KH1985EFC Yes, jets will be on multiplayer. People will be in line for jets, but understand they spawn and lots of time no one is around. There will be many vehicles per map so it shouldn't be a problem. I play 2142 and I'm always parachuting back into enemy territory,while allowing the transport to crash (after yelling bailout of course), then I'll jump in a jeep, find a tank, trash it,jump in an APC (armored personell carrier), steal an enemy tank, repair it, then shoot down the enemy gunship

@eagle2982 it isnt run and gun shit like CoD. you have to use common sense, tactics and use the map to your advantage, all bullets from any gun is affected by gravity, it is most noticeable on sniper rifles because of the range you are firing from. you can see the flare from the bullet as it is traveling. there are vehicles on the maps at your disposal if you can get to them before everyone else hogs them lol, such as tanks, humvees, UAV(dont know if they are keeping this though), and choppers

Only thing they used from that one is the Frostbite engine and the Destruction engine. Battlefield 3 will be the best and most realistic game of the year, that's for sure.

Health won't re-generate. You start with 100% health as in BF2.

Medic class is gone too, as you can revive people with assault weapons and others too now. It's fully customizable.

Oh and dogtags are customizable too, aswell as the camo/soldier(?). There are new gadgets and weapons. Such as the flashlight.

And kniving from the front takes 2 hits to kill, while kniving from the back requires 1.

Also, this was pre-alpha, then comes alpha, then comes beta (open beta next week!!), then comes demo and finally the game release. They have had enough time to clear glitches and bugs. When they discover new ones they will fix them and patch them! :D

Assault is the new medic, so no medic is not gone. The medic(now called support) and assault abilities are just swapped.

I played alpha got one hit every time front or back.

Hopefully the new camo is more than just special kits like bc2.

In bf2 there was no cieling but the controls got impossible at a certain height... but if you were good you could still fly it to like 20000 ft and jump out and all the flags would be together youd be up so high lol. Please tell me there is no cieling again and we can fly up as much as we want.
