@kronicaster I thought it was just me. I thought it was pretty ironic that the guy keeps saying make music while you're practicing technique, but it ends up sounding like a typewriter anyway. I hate that percussing choke mute right hand dampening...I'd rather hear a smooth flowing legato sound half as fast. These shredders need to stop everything and hear some Michael Brecker...

Not at all. He has crazy technique, but look at what he does with it. He takes terrible sounding exercises used to build technical skills and makes good music out of them. Technical, but tasty at the same time.

@aleks1155 Sorry to pick on you, but it's people like you that annoy me. People that always want tabs for everything they hear...just use your ears and eyes and i'm sure you'll get it if you really want to learn it. Tabs are the devil, because most of the time they are wrong. But if you're tone deaf and can't tell that the tab is incorrect or if it's "close enough" for your liking then you obviously can't fully appreciate music.

I hate the guy behind the camra, yeah...yeah...fool. This is kiko, best guitar player of the world. Kiko diz que deve estudar tecnica e musica as mesmo tempo, isso é muito importante. Nao fazer aqueles exercicioas 1-2-3-4 que sao muito chatos, aplicas em acordes e fica tudo mais interessante.

This has got to be the most valuable bit of information I've acquired. Not only is Kiko my favorite guitarist EVER, but he is also a great teacher! Fuck the boring practice, keep it melodic. Why can't everyone else be as realistic? My last guitar teacher wasted my time with all the boring shit and I never learned anything! Kiko rules!
