God is in an effort to cleanse our mortal genome and sign it with immortality with His blood. Only his blood can cleanse us from spiritual and physical curse. We need his blood to run in our vein so that we could sustain for eternity or we can be like Him. When father's blood is in the child, child becomes like the father. When we have Christ/God's blood in us we become like God.
