You have to remember that Rooney is only 22. Plus, he's broken his metatarsal twice in recent years, which has disrupted his rhythm of scoring, along with a innocuous injury a few weeks ago on the training ground when he was in blistering form. Take into account also that he's not a recognised centre-forward, more a second-striker, and his goal tally then doesn't look bad. Besides, if this is how good he is now, how good will he be in another three or four years? PS: Sensational goal.
