Oh I have done something like this before, better technique! I made it pudding, so it looked like I was eating it, so I added a plastic spoon, mine came out smooth, you have to keep it on a flat surface, I used a book, then when it was done I put it on the laptop! Perfect my dad flipped, then when he heard me laughing so hard he touched it, realised it was fake, then through it across the room haha! Best prank ever!

instead of tempera, add food coloring, some water (about half to 1 part, if 1 part = glue) and some of a borax solution... mix well... you have a polymer thats has some properties of coffee, but is solid. Easy clean up,and itll look similar to coffee
