YO this is ashton (bass drum 5, class of 09) from cy-creek high from TEXAS ... the first thing that came to my mind as soon as this started to watch was WHOA!!! SNARE STICK HEIGHTS MUCH!!! XD loud and in your face... like drumline supposed to be. and what is this piece called cuz the marimba part looks FUN AS HELL!!!
I don't think I took a breath once the entire time! That definitly was my best performance of the season, and I think it was for all of us as well! I miss everyone soooo much! This video is a great memory!!! Love you all! CYPRESS CREEEEEEEK!!!!! ~Cara (Marimba 4)
the thing i loved about this was the fact that we had just learned the closer to that performance level in a week...and it was freakin awesome for just one week of knowing it...
wow. i had no idea this video was made. I hadnt seen it until now, and the season is over..=[
but we did a great job at the competition. W got best Percussion, and according to Willis we were the absolute talk of the night! And that is difficult to achieve, and we managed to do that. Im proud of everyone!
hey im the fifth bass from oviedo and as u kno we won best bass line which was fuckin crazi cause im only a freshman but u guys were really good and im glad u won so we can get u guys next year but overall great job.see ya next year
Love watching this video, probably the best performance that season and definitely one of the most powerful moments of my life.

Wow! thats the only other time ive seen the "old fashioned" four mallet grip. that is what i was taught in high school....very rare anymore....
