The only person who seems to be able to give a proper definition of "hipster" is the old guy in the fleece. None of this "ironic" bullshit that most of the commenters here and all these videos criticising hipsters can't seem to veer away from.
Probably a bit sad that the only scrap of sense comes from a completely different and seperate generation, but that's that.

@Lesartiste it's the proper definition based upon the meaning of what a 'hippie' was, but you must admit a 'hipster' is a far cry from that definition in actuality.. at least those who really do create the trends wouldn't refer to themselves (or rarely would) openly as a hipster as those who really self-proclaim that title (almost like the ultimate irony, ah the paradox). so who is the real 'hipster' then?
