  • food for thought

  • This guy might be a crackhead

  • if he tripped...

  • how did i end up here :/

and the only thing i see here is food being wasted... kids in africa and all ya know wtf!

  • Reminds me of that movie super

  • Lol. Your funny keep uploading vids

  • Hey daddy! Why is there rotting turkey out by the push n' pull?

  • I don't understand having a set distance for overcoming a person with a firearm, as there is no set amount of time to remove a weapon from a holster and fire it for the 7 billion potential attackers out there. Entertaining video, nonetheless.

  • Once again you are merely hanging out. Your a deceptive bladed threat sir.

  • Kids play there....

  • Just hanging out... Ahhhahhglahh

  • ?????

  • Love the shirt :-)

  • its a big freaken turkey and your a big freaken douche bag. dont let him fool ya thats not his kids swingset its his... hes prob never seen a pair of nice TigoBitties unless it was on his computer... nuff said haha

  • @184Jeep this relates to the video how? he's demonstrating the 21 ft rule where an armed subject with a knife could easily over power one with a holstered pistol or rifle... let me put it in a more simple term for your COD rotten 10 year old brain- commando pro.

  • Comment removed

  • @bubbatoad100 Yeah no, but considering most law enforcement don't take this rule into account i think it'd be best to at least say something. Sometimes the person is taken by surprise. You're speaking as if the person with a knife is always 21 ft from you. 4-5 feet of this rule is just leniency towards pulling out your weapon. Other wise it's just up to you, and your trigger finger.

  • @bubbatoad100 Either way, i saw this commenter demeaning this guy for giving a rule that could quite possibly save your life. If you'd rather be part of the mainstream crowd in this abysmal society of ours be my guest, other wise this rule gives peoples standards for weapon balancing

  • @dogbone222 well me myself can draw my 1911 45 faster than anyone can close that distance

  • @ssgkillsuall agreed, with a serpa holster, i can draw my glock and put lead down range faster then he could get to me.

  • how old is this douche?

  • im pretty sure your mom told You dont run with swords neither

  • thumbs up if you dont want to live next door to this guy.

  • beast

  • I can guarantee that if I am carrying a gun and some douche is standing 21 feet in front of me with a ninja turtle sword I'm gonna' have that gun pulled and ready to go.

  • @thebugoutguy

All I'm saying is that, as an individual that isn't made of frozen poultry or cardboard, I don't find you especially...threatening.

  • A few things wrong with this, your a full grown man playing with a sword, you have kids, and your wasting food. Your an idiot and a child.

  • @TheSparkIdea

And you are a master of your own reality, playing with YouTube. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

  • I don't know what you're trying to prove here. But if you came running at me with that thing you'd have at least 3 well placed .40 caliber Hydra Shoks in your chest.

  • @attackthestatic The point is called the tueller drill and it shows how a blade from as far as 30 feet, can be used as a lethal weapon before someone with a holstered gun can draw aim and fire..thus that police for example should not get closer than 40 feet or so to someone they know is carrying a bladed weapon w/o them having their guns drawn and ready to fire

so no..you would not be putting rounds into him at all..your gun would fall to the ground with the rest of your body

  • @AtheosTheAtheist

    right on, brother!

  • @AtheosTheAtheist your quoting the Tuller drill as gospel, this is not the case nor has it ever been. It is simply a what if scenario. Can a person with in 21 feet or less with a knife be a threat to you, yes they can be. and that is all the Tuller drill is trying to explain. You are using it as a forgone conclusion that the person with the knife will win every time, that is a very foolish mistake to make.

  • @AtheosTheAtheist "so no..you would not be putting rounds into him at all..your gun would fall to the ground with the rest of your body"

Nonsense. I've participated in the Tueller Drill. From 21 feet, I was able to draw and place two AIMED shots on target before the runner could get anywhere near me.

The Tueller Drill is a a good APPROXIMATION only. Shooters like myself are not the norm, and we skew the data. However, we are not so rare that you should bet your life on Tueller.

  • @attackthestatic

I just posted an explanation on the 21 foot rule that might give you second thoughts on that.

  • Frankly, any strategy that doesn't work on a target that isn't dead or inanimate probably isn't going to work well in a post-apocalyptic world...but, you know, whatever.

  • @ArmandDenton

Frankly, keyboard comments work for someone sitting at a computer and just saying everyone who actually does something in the real world can't do it right...but yes I know, whatever.

  • Dude is that a swing set? You have kids? Someone had sex with you? WTF?

  • Lol I didn't even see it until you hit it

  • @ShvettiBalls

that is what all the UFC people say who get in fights.. I didn't see the knife.

  • AAAAAA ooomp. Hows it going Dale Gribble?

  • this guy is a douche

  • @blown46pwr

    can you expand on that?

  • look how weak and skinny you look, you seem so clumbsy im suprized you still have all ur limbs, i would rape you wit that sword!

  • @SpookGoon

You think I'm clumbsy? You suprized? Relly?

  • @thebugoutguy YOU ALMOST BROKE UR ANKLE WHEN YOU TRYED TO TAKE UR FIRST STEP/ LUNGE FORWARD.YOU NEED TO BECOME STRONGER, MAYBE RUN A LIL TO,

  • Run Forest! Ruuuuunnnnnnn!

  • Better if the turkey was alive, you would have had a lot more realism :P Mabye hunting then after you have shot the prey and it strugling to hang onto life, slit its thought with that nice blade :P anyway i love that blade, where u get it. i would put it to good use

  • I have a friend that did three years because he threatened some people with a sword and got himself shot three times. I guess it depends on the skills and the willingness of the parties involved.

  • @tonykaz626

threats are not an effective attack.

  • @thebugoutguy You got that right. Brandishing a sword and using it on live people are two different things entirely and Matt found that one out the hard way. At least he doesn't keep that damn sword around anymore now. It doesn't matter to me what anyone carries cause knife, gun, sword, tank, are no match for these shoes and how fast they run away...

  • Do you always attack turkeys when you're "just hanging out?"

  • LOL I don't think I'd be putting myself within 21 feet of a dude with a blade like that.

  • people.. the thing that makes the 21 foot rule valid is that it's usually a surprise attack. Almost 10 feet of that could be gone by the time you realize the threat. If you know the guy is going to attack and you can remain calm, gun should win. If by surprise, then you'll probably injured at best...killed at worst evn if u do get off shots

  • @alibaba8368 The thing that makes the 21 foot rule, is NOT this guy, he's "Just hanging out" with a 2-3 foot blade...now if I'm walking somewhere while carrying, and I see a guy just hanging out with a sword, I'm probably going to be ready to draw already, and those first 10 feet won't happen when he starts coming at me. A gun MIGHT not kill in the first shot, but most people won't just shoot once, if he had a pocket knife, he'd have the same problem, probably won't kill instantly.

  • @YourGodStalin

I couldn't follow what you are saying here but thanks anyway.

  • WOW, two turkeys in one video.

  • Dang guys y'all are rough, I think it's hilarious and he's got a point.. Quit being a bunch of douche bags.

  • just hangin out...... bang bang bang bang you're dead. gun wins every time scrub.

  • Watch out guys, we got a badass over here.

  • @blightedpersona

You know it, you know it.

  • @blightedpersona mother of god yes!!!!!!!!

  • I was thinking "Wonder if I could pull a handgun out from a concealed holster fast enough to put this guy down.", so I tested it against your videos, and every time, I'm able to get at the least amount, 3 shots to the chest, and an entire mag when you're in slow motion.

  • @YourGodStalin A pistol has no certainty of an instant incapacitation with shots to the center of mass unless you hit the central nervous system. Even if you mortally wound the person he still has enough gas in his system to really mess you up.

My take? If you need to draw on a guy with a knife within 21 feet, you have already done something wrong. You should have already drawn and have a bead on the dude who is threatening you with a knife.

  • @rexregum Well, I'm not saying the 21 foot rule is completely invalid, I'm more saying this guy representing it is. He's always showing a knife that would be easily be spotted by another person, which would mean he wouldn't really have the chance to start running in for the 21 feet. Either way, a pocket knife, or even a larger concealable fixed blade, is easier and less painful when taken to the gut than 9mm, besides...

  • @YourGodStalin In close quarters a person armed with a knife has a lot of advantages over a person with a gun. A gun works best when range is in play, not at knife fighting distances.

  • @rexregum

Hey, we've got one here that can see!

  • @YourGodStalin

Actually I hide it most of the time before I start. My 21 foot rule is the MOST valid since I would think I have done it more than anyone. Once you take the knife in the gut it isn't the end, that is just the beginning.

  • @rexregum I wouldn't draw on someone holding me up with a knife unless they were showing the signs that they're going to kill me or someone I'm with, carrying is for protection, not taking the law into my own hands, most of the time someone that's going to rob you doesn't want to actually hurt the person they're robbing, they're just armed so they have the confidence to actually do it.

  • @YourGodStalin you are not taking the law into your own hands if you draw on a guy who is threatening you with a knife. you have the right to self-defense, to protect yourself and your property. You don't need to shoot the guy, but you need to make it clear that you can very well do it if he decides to escalate matters.

Wanting to draw only when the other person is making clear indications that he wants to escalate means that you have already lost the initiative.

  • @rexregum Pulling on a person is escalating the situation as well. Your right though, a knife isn't that big of a problem pulling on, but what if that person had a friend off to the side holding a firearm, are you still going to pull and in doing so get your wife, child, or yourself killed? It's better to lose money and a few credit cards, than draw and be to reason your girlfriend is laying in your arms bleeding to death because you wanted to be the big man and save the day.

  • @YourGodStalin what a twisted way of looking at life.

  • @blown46pwr Killing a man can do that to a person. Some people can handle it a lot easier than others, most of the time those guys were or are in the military, but it still effects them.

  • @YourGodStalin what does that have to do with the guy being an idiot douche running at a turkey and cutting it? If he thinks it is that easy he should volunteer his expert knowledge at a police training facility. Show them he can cut them up before they taze or shoot him. haha I'd pay to see that.

  • @blown46pwr Wait...which of my comments were you saying was a twisted way of looking at life? The only thing I ever said about this guy, was that he's a bad representation of how the 21 foot rule is viable.

  • @blown46pwr

How much would you pay? So the police trainers, how many times have they run 21 feet with a live blade and cut something? How much knowledge do they have with knives?

  • @YourGodStalin Most people won't have the time to determine a threat, draw their weapon, and neutralize the threat. A hold up at knife point is a threat of lethal force. Anyone is within their rights to use whatever weapons are at their disposal to protect their life and property at that point. If you wouldn't fire you shouldn't be carrying that sort of weapon in the first place. Pepper spray is effective and non lethal, though I wouldn't want want to test it against that sword.

  • @tonykaz626 You're completely right, but pulling a firearm and shooting a man, is harder to life with than most people think. I've known a person to commit suicide after "defending" themselves, most people who think "Oh I could kill a person threatening me or someone I love no problem." I believe them, but 95% of them couldn't handle it after the fact.

  • @YourGodStalin I agree with you and though this may sound wrong, it is a refreshing thing to hear. I am glad to hear that most people would have a problem after killing someone. Too much stuff on the internet these days looks to be the opposite. People post their murders now. I was afraid the majority of folks could saw through a couple neck bones and sit down for a hearty breakfast afterwards.

  • @tmfk626 A lot of people will say that it doesn't bother them, or they wouldn't have a problem with it, they're lying, it's easy to point the gun and pull the trigger, but it's not as easy to live with having done it. It doesn't matter if you're trying to protect someone when you do it, that face, the environment, every little detail about the moment, will stay in your dreams for the rest of your life.

  • @YourGodStalin

Yeah, cuz you already know what is going to go down. Life ain't like that.

  • looks like my mother's pussy.

  • Why don't you show the slicing power while standing in close proximity? Slashing is not an effective killing technique(difficult to get to important areas without proper training and also difficult against a competent opponent). At that distance not only could I step to your off side, I could draw my weapon and hit you twice(no trained shooter fires 1 round at a bad guy).

  • "Just hanging out"(with this big knife like I'm not going to cut you), really? I don't know, but if I was carrying and I saw a guy standing randomly with a knife of any kind, I'd be ready to grab my gun already, hence defeating the 21 foot rule.

  • ''just hanging out'' (cuz ima douche who plays ninja in my back yard)

wtf? Go to afganistan and maybe you can find a life there!

  • He has a playground in his backyard for the little kids he wants to rape. Fucking faggot.

  • @thebugoutguy i have a full tang kill bill sword ..tell me would i be possible to cut threw the turkey bones without damaging the blade ?

  • And please pass the cranberry sauce.

  • I'll pull out the Espada XL on you and just see you react.

    Actually. i wouldn't bother scaring a 40-year old virgin.

  • slo mo scream= LOLZ! hahahahahahaha

  • WTF ???

  • Happy thanksgiving!!!!

  • i'd just draw my gun when you say "just hangin' out" because according to your videos that means you'll probably try to knife me...

  • just hangin' out... blaaahhh die turkeeeeh !!!

  • Comment removed

  • BAHHHHHHUNGGGG AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! actually have a guy with a airsoft gun and go against him!!!

  • Get the net! by the way, I used to just be hanging out, then discovered the new boxer shorts with the no gapping feature :)

  • if someone pulled a gun on you are u gonna say "just hangin out" before u run at him like a wild retard with a sword?

i watched the airsoft video and if those were real bullets youd be taken down by the time the sword was unsheathed or w/e the fuck u say.

    and always remember...

    "just hangin out"

  • Yes! People running with large very sharp objects running as fast as they can uncontrollably with eyes only on their prize! Yeah buddy

  • @911feltner911 nah he can totally carry that around legally as long as he doesnt conceal it. Its just stupid lol

  • Jus' hangin out

  • LOLOL.. This guy is hilarious. Reminds me of Monty Python and some portion of the Quest for the Holy Grail. I'm assuming he is not serious. Funny though.

  • This is how you chop a turkey!! The Filipino Style!!

  • i like that just hanging out... with a 2 foot sword..lol. someone would shoot you before you would even move. you know i hate to tell you this but my gun is legal as long as i am holding ccw but there is no law that allows carrying a 2 foot sword. at least none that i know of.. soooo that makes you in the act of committing a felony and you would become the bad guy.lmao epic fail

  • neighbor:get the kids inside

  • awww he didn't fall over at the end!

  • I know why he is so anti-gun. Do you know how hard it is for a registered sex offender to purchase a firearm?

  • @MrWildtizzle Right? He's got the children's playground too.

  • just hangin out...RAAAAAGH!!!

  • this man has kids?

  • A master troll.

  • Just hanging out...... with a sword?

  • what a freeking RETARD DORK

  • I've always been told never to run with scissors... luckily your only running with a large Knife.

  • It's obvious he paused the video, took some time to cut the turkey, then put it back and recorded again. Dumb noob.

  • @ZezainKingPker

did not. did not. not. did not. Maybe I should have though.. I am a sissy for not cutting it all the way through.

  • class mate:What does your dad do for a job?

    bugoutguyjr:...........

  • if it was alive it would of gotten away!

  • if it was alive it would of got away

  • Send that to Africa plox, we hungry.

  • Also, your video does serve a very valuable secondary purpose: to demonstrate just how dangerous a person with a knife is. People seem to take an "it's just a knife" attitude in response to threats, or can't understand why the police would shoot a 115 lb. knife-wielding woman or minor, for example.

As you have shown, a knife can deal serious damage just as quickly as a gun, maybe more quickly. People who CCW who would say "it's just a knife" should heed this and the rest of your videos well.

  • I disagree with your philosophy on guns, but your video teaches people who carry a gun to be situationally aware.

That way if a crazy man with a khukuri decides to "hang out" in my AO I can establish egress routes, get obstacles between him and me, and probably just watch him in case he decides to draw.

Knife man isn't invisible or anything, and any responsible CCWer will have an eye on him and a hand on their gun. It's suicide at best -- you'll be gunned down eventually by a CCWer or a cop.

  • @asmodeus20

especially the CCW guys who keep their gun in the car right?

  • just hangin out...

  • @fiendin281

    Sup, dude.

  • Cant tell if serious or just joking, hmm...

  • @NBarker1993 neither serious or joking, just plain crazy.

  • @mryellow123

I have been called crazy butterfly dog before.

  • the question is if you had a knife and the other guy had a gun and you knew this would you try to stab him. also the targets yo have chosen are not mobile.

  • @Kiddeth

    neither are most gun guys.

  • omg.... please dont tell me you have that play set because you have children :s

  • @darcyryan99 Would it really make you feel better knowing that he is a full grown man with a knife fetish, a play set in his back yard, and no children?

  • @OregonTechAlumni he has a kid, dip shit

  • @darcyryan99

    I live with my mom.

  • yeah.. why is he doing this..?

  • yeah cause your enemy is going to be a floating dead turkey.

  • Sorry, WHAT?!

that is a horribly inefficient way to cut the thanksgiving turkey..

  • bawo przeciełeś indyka :) jesteś super

  • @Krzychuoswi

    thats what she said

  • awesome cargo jorts dude

  • oh just hangin out.......

  • Is he ever afraid one day he might trip and skewer himself?

  • @eacortes

I have thought some about how to fall and have some experience.

  • just hangin' out.

  • I pity the guy that charges me with a sword.......and yes, I have a concealed carry permit with a Springfield Armory XD .45 on my hip.

  • @MadTarnsman

    ooh, me so scared...

  • I love filipino blades

  • @erieeric Perhaps for pygmies, but not for armies or world-class police forces...

  • LEEEEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOY NNNJENKIIIIIIHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNZ!

  • Why not learn to throw your weapons from that distance? I've seen several guys who can pull out a gun, fire a shot, drop the clip, pull another clip, load, cock, and fire again in less than 5 seconds.

Personally, I carry 2, 9 inch full tang no grip throwing knives at all times.

And always remember, with a knife. It's the element of suprise. This isn't braveheart.

  • That works really well as long as the (turkey) is stationary. So, if this (turkey) was to take two steps forward he could punch you in the throat, while your sword is still help with a limp wrist above your head. Plus, I bet there is a much better chance that I can pull my 9mm out of my waistband much faster than you can retrieve your sword from the trunk of your car,

  • @TONY45066

The turkey could take two steps forward and punch me in the throat? So I am charging and you move forward with your fist to take on my sword. You keep it in your waistband? That is where I keep my sword.

  • Damn youre a f'n spartan

  • @landronics

    yes I am. A man I am.

  • I did the same thing but I used mashed taters and giblet gravy.

  • Dude. You just wasted perfectly good sandwich meat.

  • Didn't your parents ever tell you not to run with knives???

  • What do I do when the shooter is 22 feet away?!?

  • @rollnswolln barrel roll

  • @rollnswolln Don`t run at him with a knife and go "BLAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHH!"

  • @rollnswolln You have to be stealthy or you run in zig zags to confuse him

  • @rollnswolln throwing knife

  • @rollnswolln Run away if you can or if they aren't shooting at you quickly run up and neutralize them

  • @rollnswolln Then you run at them faster, and scream at them louder, and if they get the gun up too soon, you pray.

  • @rollnswolln it doesn't matter cause if he moves you can move too

  • Enjoyed your video. Wondering just how sharp is that thing. Like razor sharp or not honed to a razors edge but damn sharp. You make me nervous running on a slick grass with something that freakin sharp.

fyi, in the academy we were able to win every time by back peddling while firing. Shotgun at ready position (00 head shot) wins even down to 10'. Kill a banker...please.

  • @gigololounging lol shotguns don't count

  • @gigololounging lol shotguns don't count because you don't even need to aim them

  • @Elluem Clearly you've never patterned a shotgun. A typical unchoked 12ga at 20 feet only has about a 5-8 inch spread, depending on the shot type and barrel length. A slug obviously doesn't spread at all. Changes are, even with a rifle or pistol, you'd be lucky to hit within 5" of your aim point if you were forced to draw and point shoot while actually being charged at by a man with an edged weapon from 21 feet away. That's if you were even able to draw fast enough to get a sight picture.

  • @silvermediastudio Well.. I have fired a shotgun.. and if the person is close enough.. you don't need to aim at a vital organ to do massive damage.. or stop them... you just point at the center of their mass.. and it's not very difficult to aim...

I'm all on your side though... I don't think that you'd be able to draw a shotgun and hit someone with it before someone got to you with a bladed weapon. I understand the 21 foot rule... I know it's correct.

I was kidding with my earlier comment :P
