In regards to the backing vocals, I had the chance to catch Evergrey at Progpower USA, where they used the setup from the live DVD (It was a one time thing for the fest), and I have to tell you, it works MUCH better in concert than in the recordings from their DVD/live album. Just wanted to throw that in there for what it's worth.

Evergrey should be one of the biggest bands in the world right now. They have heaviness practically falling out of their asses, but they have great melodies and overall songs. Tom Englund is a genuinely mindblowing songwriter/singer/guitarist/pe­rformer who makes you feel exactly what he wants you to feel. You could take every single member of every single band you hear on the radio in a day, add them together, and Evergrey would still beat that bands ass (musically, of course.)
