In House of Numbers: Anatomy of an Epidemic, an AIDS film like no other, the HIV/AIDS story is being rewritten. This is the first film to present the uncensored POVs of virtually all the major players; in their own settings, in their own words. It rocks the foundation upon which all conventional wisdom regarding HIV/AIDS is based. watch?v=_p-ttLfkZHQ
does any know how i can get these people's comments (on the video, not below) translated to english? contact me. im teaching a class on sex education & i think this is really interesting
More worried about the corporations pushing condoms, they were outlawed by the Supreme Court DNA the Surgeon General Koop these likely have methlyparaben or phenylethanol, SUE JOHNSON & JOHNSON for putting addictive toxins that CAUSE the spread of disease especially when used by men in ANAL SEX due to FRICTION.
It's unfortunate that the comments of the people they were interviewing weren't translated and added as subtitles. If the narrator is speaking it English it would only make sense to have the rest of the feature translated to the same language.
This is just sad... Damn. Sometimes u see stories like these, being part of the diaspora, u r left wondering and somehow sad thinking of just how much u spend in one night out. It would help a lot.
@tommar1722 To be honest, our money can help. But even if we send 10 times what we sent, i.e. 400 billion shillings, it would NOT help .. the powers that be steal the money or divert it to their causes. Again, government workers are not really given to work. I work for a state here and PEOPLE WORK. In Kenya, the people in govt do not work, so our money cannot do anything
it is so sad..the area MP should be jailed for letting his people suffer this way..what happened to free condom distribution by government hospitals and hundreds on NGOs
@1980aivilo isn't the point of this feature to address the plight of these people?? what will patenting stories benefit these guys who clearly need more people to see this so that they can get help...tragic how I hear people in Nairobi, where the condoms are in plenty, complain that their distribution encourages immorality WASHINDWE!!

@siasabora We have three basic needs, food, sex and shelter - clothing is an option! So, if you give them food, u will need sex and when you get sex, you need to sleep, i.e. shelter. And seriously the condoms will break!
@mtafiti: Yupps...africa needs food, water and more food...the guy is wasting too much energy cleaning condoms than seeking means to a better livelihood. First things First! oh boy!
@mtafiti: yeah its the cleaning tht I find just a little bit disturbing...water in his world could be used productively elsewhere but I agree priorities differ!
There is not much to do when poor so sex is probably a lot on the mind. The guy had to pay for his condoms and not many people have that money.

Its good to see that they've received some sex education and they are utilising it.
Better than some people who are given condoms and they outrightly refuse the condoms, cos apparently they are too good to use condoms.

@Mwanahela Sex ''education'' would only be useful if ''AIDS'' was caused by a virus? watch?v=_p-ttLfkZHQ
