  • I would be playing at this high level if I only started at a young age. I grabbed my first guitar at the age of 20, but still going strong. This man inspires.

  • What an incredible imagination! A story teller indeed.

  • Do anyone here know if this is Stanyslaw PARTYKA's guitar he is playing here?

  • I'm impressed

  • woooww suena estupendo

  • Beautiful!

  • Music is a language. I think Lukazs has a perfect timing and phrasing. Delicate and powerful tone. But does not transmit any emotion, and he stays only inside the small world of the guitar. The guitar has every sound of the universe, is the perfect instrument, and Lukazs only developed a small part of it. Bream and Russell are very famous because their inteligence in developing this side of the guitar

  • I totally disagree! This guy's interpretations are among the best - namely because the transmit emotion more than anyone else's. When listening to Lukasz you feel that he takes you on a musical journey and you won't let go until he leaves the stage :) Anyway, that's just my opinion.

  • I absolutely agree, Its enough to listen to minute 2:15 and hear the way he does the appogiaturas. Nobody that has heard rossini would do it like this. There is this tendency for some guitarists for weird "unusual" phrasings just to be "Different". Jordi Savall said in a masterclass yesterday that there are THOUSANDS of correct possibilities when creating an interpretation, but what is not correct is simply wrong. This is, in my opinion an example...

  • Guys u should hear him now... This was in 2004 and he was only 24...

  • could have been better. take a note out of segovia's book ... try not to make any two passages sound alike :-\

  • passages should sound alike, otherwise the music sounds disjointed.

Great performance by a great musician and guitarist.

  • wow! your truly a great guitarist! incredible technique and musicianship.I am speechless!

  • Fantastic performance! I've seen him in concert twice, once at Peabody and once in Philly, and was spellbound both times. He is such an incredibly dynamic musician. Bravo, Lukasz!

  • I was at his concert in Amsterdam. In the Concertgebouw. He is nice, and a very good guitarist!!! REALY!!!

  • I was there 2, very nice concert and guitarist indeed. But he could do without the loud breathing noises..

  • I was drinking a beer with him :P (it's not a joke:) ). He's one of the best polish guitarists on the world, with Marcin Dylla.

  • That's funny , I had a beer with him too! A very witty guy, also.

  • I would say he's one of the best guitarists in the world - Polish or otherwise

  • I would say it is a toss up between, him, Julian Bream and David Russell :-)

  • actually i would say, David Russell and Julian Bream are both better

  • Do you know how old is this guy when he was playing this???....

He was playing this when he was 24!!

and how old is Russell and Bream??

and this is the way how u should play this piece it's sound better
