I noticed that the Rat King was played by somebody else in this live version than the one they aired on the Disney Channel. His voice is different, and near the end when he is turned back to a prince his hair is brown instead of blond.
the sad thing is, Disney is trying to get rid of Equitey, so there slowly trying to get rid of live, speaking performers,and this show, has a hell of a lot of them. and thats what amkes it so good!
well, with equity you HAVE to pay the perfromers a certain amount, and in order to get a serious audition on broadway, you have to have an equity card. and when your in a show at disney, you get it automatically. and that means disney has to pay the actors more. which obviously disney doesnt want, and if they dont speak, they dont count.
@DavidJMcCarthy That's not quite true. Disneyland (or Disneyland resort) was never under Equity contract. They function through AGVA. Walt insisted on LIVE performers so that will not change for any reason. Walt Disney World however IS under Actors Equity Association.

i never saw this before now, but now that i've seen it, THEY NEED TO BRING IT BACK FOR THE HOLIDAYS! i mean, they do the Christmas Fantasy Parade every Christmas, why not do this every Christmas as well?
sometimes i dont like how they mix up the nutcracker music, like they got the sugar plum fairy for the battle. But I like how they arranged it though. GO MINNIE!!!!
