Been catching up on most of your posts. Much respect from over here with all the swishing and swashing you buckers do. Amazingly fun to watch. Thanks for the pain to play.
For a few minutes there I thought Jim had gone into a coma, or possibly even died! Have I mentioned that I LOVE you guys???? Best wishes from sunny Fort Lauderdale!! Cheers!! :)
good review, a think one of them would finish me off. A know there no the best but does anyone know what variety of fresh chillies they have in asda, all is says on the 2 different packets they have is "mixed red and green chillies" and "thin chillies" and that they were grown in Africa ???
Great freakin review guys! Jim looked like he was in a coma for a while there, or just simply stunned, lol... Look back at the video at around 13:32 or so, when you pull out the box of peppers, the expression on Jim's face is priceless when he's eyeballin' that box, rofl.
Wow... You guys look like me after my first big chili sauce mistake. Chowed down on a tablespoon of Z Nothing Beyond on an empty stomach. Everything hurt, everything tingled, and my stomach was NOT having any of it. Wish we could get these seeds in Canada. Would love to have my own chili greenhouse. Another great review, good on ya!
One of your most expressive reviews, great job per usual. Maybe its just me but there are 2 types of people considering reactions to capsaicin. The expressive types (face expressions etc), and the ones that hiccup that can just sit there and don't react much at all. Found this to be true with my co-workers/friends, etc. I wish sometimes I fell in the hiccup category, but for everyone else they get some entrainment. Can't wait to see more super hot reviews, cheers!
IMO the 7 pods I've tried have been far hotter than Bhuts, Naga morich and Dorsets. Although I've only been growing the Jonahs so I dont know how they compare to the others....
great again ! wow, can´t imagine that this 7 pods are that hot for you (because you tried so much in the past, nagas, Bhut J., extreme extract sauces...) but we can see : homegrown chilies are much better (and I think hotter) than supermarket-chilies :))
Lol, dude that looked very painful, the complete lack of response from jim said it all!! Looking forward to the butch t vid now! The huge yellow 7 I am going to test started to ripen a few days ago - maybe next weekend it will be ready =)
Oh man if I could, I'd like this video twice. Once for you and once for Jimmer. Thumbs up for both of you and I did a silent round of applause for you here. I know what you mean by that high though. I ate a pepper that I only know as a Scorpion Red Habanero(possibly a caribbean red) and that was just half of it and on a sandwich with two slices of bread. It burned like crazy, but afterwards, I wanted more and was loving it. Not as hot as that though.
Poor Jim! Jim....! What were you thinking? Pure Mental....! Ouch.... and then another Ouch.....hours later! Fire in the hole! Ha ha ha ha... LOL... Great Video!
As per your advice, I won't try this at home. Good on ya, Jim! The most I've done is a teaspoon of Dave's Insanity. I couldn't imagine 1,000,000 scovilles from a chili!
Kudos Jim...damn well done! Lookin' forward to more reviews of Paul's harvest...definitely prepare before hand Leo...they're gonna be hot! I wasn't sure Paul was gonna make it through his Morouga Red review! All you guys rule! Cheers!
You guys are my heros good vid for sure. Hey would like to add my thanks for always taking the time to reply to all my questions i appreciate your time in doing so.
... need to add: you're so right about the chili-high. Tried to explain it to my girlfriend just a few hours ago when we were having dinner. She had chicken seasoned with paprika, salt, black pepper and worcester. Mine had an extra of naga, ginger, curry, cumin and vinegar. She wouldn't believe me so I guess I'll just show her your vid. :D
I "only" have Blairs After Death, Ultra Death and Z's Nothing beyond. But i think i can feel with you guys. Once i tried a Naga Jalokia. I almost Cried. :D
@TheHullokitteh i was cutting jalepenos once some juice went in my eye. incredibly painful, eveytime i thought i could open my eye and look around, it just spread it. lasted like 30 mins. intense. dont do it.
@Dcole11 Its not always about the numbers mate. You can eat a Chili that is relatively low in SHU and it can just attack you like a flame thrower. You can get high SHU chili's which give a nice burn, still intense but nice , tolerable and enjoyable. Various factors can cause it to happen. Consistency is a major factor. but 1m scoville is pretty damn hot in the chili world.
Big respect. And then some guys.
