  • O.K

  • Mike crushed those capitalist pigs in the Democratic primaries. Mike actually seems like he wanted to end the war, not like Obama who just sends in more troops.

  • i didnt i hoped he would win

  • I would have voted for him... I have to say, he had a good strategy for posting things of himself on youtube, because all the young people are on youtube nowadays. Good way of getting his word out

  • i voted for him in the nebraska primary i really thought he would win

  • Him and Ron Paul were the best candidates

  • LOL

  • All Mike wants you folks to do is STOP AND THINK!

  • u r so right

  • kudos for the initiative. if he's that passionate about politics he should run as an independent.

  • I personally support Ron Paul but I do greatly respect Mike Gravel. He's hip and revolutionary isnt that exactly what America needs today?

  • ditto

  • anyone else watching this high?

  • nice rhymes

  • he is so funny! Go Gravel!!

  • hahaha this guy is fucked up

  • ...and you're an idiot.

  • i have to apologize for my friend who made that comment on my profile. mike gravel is fucking awesome sauce!!!

  • Much better! :) He's a hero!

  • This was cool, ever think about runnin in MI?!

  • ces genial =) vous etes vraiment tro cool =)

    verry good men =) ^^peace

  • Oh yaeh great the best i would vote for you 100%

  • john lennon was great.

    go gravel.

  • I think Mike Gravel is a pretty cool guy. Eh is from alaska and doesn't afraid of anything.

  • i would vote for him if he was white

  • ...if he WERE white. I guess you put a fine point on it. He looks kind of peach-colored, maybe pink to me.

  • and hes one of them dirty Alaskans. You know they don't shower?

  • He rocks. I would vote for him if i was American.

  • I would vote for him if I was 18

  • idc this is funny

  • at .29 i keep hearing "give a piece of cheese"

  • the stuff that gravel is saying makes sense.....to me...

  • god damn i love mike gravel. i seriously think i'm in love with him. how sad is it that the most groovy politician in America is 77 years old? come on, can anyone even come close to the awesomeness that is mike gravel? he reminds me of Ron Paul if Ron Paul was actually groovy ;) (don't get me wrong I like Paul too) but Gravel is right about EVERYTHING instead of just a few things.

  • lol you of all people should not be going around calling anyone else a douchebag.

  • word, to eyp. He was a SENATOR, not a city councilman. He did some great work in that office as a young man. And he's aged better than a barolo. Put some democracy on your corn flakes, alfrunk. And don't worry -- Gravel wants to empower everyone, even the douchebags.

  • Why won't anyone let him say what he wnats to say?

  • Mike Gravel is a wonderful man!

  • He *is* my president. I refuse to settle for a lesser candidate.

  • "Power to the people!"

"Give Peace a Chance" -John Lennon

  • Mike Gravel is a threat to Obama and Clinton thats why the media has censored him out and not because of that doesn't have enough popular votes bullsh*t.

  • People are brain dead if he doesn't make as President

  • weird guy but better then hiliry and obama

  • Lol. xDD

  • gravel the best. at least he is honest. eiter way people need to wake up, and free there minds, and demand honesty. dont give anyone power over you. sure some laws are right, some are not though. wake up

  • "The people can have anything they want.

The trouble is, they do not want anything.

At least they vote that way on election day."

-- Eugene Debs, American socialist leader, early 20th century

  • Wow, imagine that - Americans voting for government NOT to GIVE them things. What an anti-socialist concept. Can't believe Debs didn't win the presidency - I'm sure he would've been great. lol

  • this is the dumbest reply i've ever seen.

  • Always funny to see these self-important jackasses come on YOUTUBE and whine about censorship. They can't be so stupid as to not see the irony there, but evidently they're not embarrassed by it.

  • Yes, I've noticed. Censorship is OK if they do it. But when someone else does it, it's not OK. Also, if they want someone censored by someone else and that person doesn't censor, then there's something wrong. But if they can't speak freely, then that's wrong...In other words, free speech is OK for them but not for others.

  • doough...

  • Gravel would actually be way better than Paul. Even though I consider myself a libertarian, I identify with Gravel's platform more than with Paul's. Of course I'm in favor of ending the war and legalizing pot, but I'm not hip with Paul's idea of abolishing absolutely everything and then privatizing everything else.

  • So in otherwords, finkster, you need government involved in your life or you don't think you make it? Pretty sad! THis doddering old wantwit was on ALEX JONES radio "show" if that gives you any idea about his sanity. Hopefully grampa here'll be driving his '89 Caprice down the wrong way of an exit ramp soon - & we'll all be better off. freaking batshit crazy loon.

  • Actually, I've already "made it." Everybody needs the government "involved in their lives" to a certain degree, and you have benefited from it whether you like it or not. Ron Paul's platform would make a world where you have to pay $50 to drive to work on a privatized freeway, then work for 18 hours a day with no breaks before coming home to a small cottage to drink a glass of heavily polluted water and eat overpriced artificial food that follows no regulations and is probably also contaminated.

  • You are totally wrong finkster, Ron Paul hates pollution. And he feels it is more then just a bad idea, it's a violation of EVERYONE's rights when a company pollutes the property of their neighbor.

  • Under the old system of government regulation we were supposed to have until the Bush Dynasty took over, if a company polluted its neighbor, the person owning the property that was polluted could go to a govn agency and ask for help. Under Ron Paul, that person will now have to go to court to sue! That's his kind of liberty. The burden will be on the individual affected. Now, do you think that kind of policy is going to increase pollution or decrease it?

  • Finally, someone gets it about Ron Paul's world and posts it! Thank you. I might add that the wealthy would be drinking pure water and having pure food because they could afford it. Also, his desire to replace the income tax with "nothing" is a recipe for instant depression. Ideology is not a substitute for substantial thought. I want Gravel in the White House. He has ideas, plans and ability to execute them. He wants to benefit the American people not sell them snake oil.

  • Did this get aired on TV? This is the most creative ad I have ever seen. It would of gotten a lot of attention.

  • That was just GREAT! Keep up the good work/word!

  • Paul / Gravel 08'

  • I like the video, but isn't it kind of ironic to use a video of Gravel to endorse Paul?

  • As Paul says, the freedom message doesn't divide us, it brings us together. Too bad only Paul, Gravel and Kucinich understand that.

  • MIKE GRAVEL FOR PRESIDENT!!!

  • This guy rules but he has no chance unfortunately. Clinton and Obama successfully ostracized him. Ron Paul is our only hope left.

  • this videos awesome. ders no way gravel is gonna win, but i like him. i dont know if i like him enough to be president but i still like him lol.

  • No matter which candidate you support you have to love this video. Oops I forgot the neocons might not like this too much :-)

  • i think honestly in the future.. the common joe.. the hard worker to the slacker will prevail.. while the rich cries about their limo's and loose all their money.. while the common man comes together grows their own crops and shares with other neighbors to make things work. government will fall someday. people will become it. i really believe this even thou its radical. time repeats, and we are actually going backwards. over and over again.

  • wow.. you could take a bag of shrooms and have a good time with this video :)

  • lol!

  • the thing that makes me honored.. i got to see for the first time in my lifetime is candidates for the people. gravel. paul.i cant spell kuichnics name lol. we had a chance and it probably wont happen but we seen it and were given the chance but time is and fate is almost written for us. so .. im honored to see people of my time stand up. so in the future.. we do come together and take these ideals and do it.

  • I love this guy! Too bad our corporate overlords have it in for him. (Nasty dig, the time Obama was on SNL and "Gravel" came out ... in a straitjacket.) He's the only sane-sounding candidate ...

Unless ... *I* were crazy, too. Ohh, I see now. Never mind. I'm off to be re-educated ... Welcome, Big Brother!

  • Wow, i just finished that book yesterday.

  • Which one?

  • 1984

I had meant to reply to SirMikeyD on the previous page of comments.

  • Wish it could be Gravel/Lennon for 2008.

Love ya Mike for keeping it real!

  • It's so strange that he's running a campaign nationally...seems like a fringe party candidate like Canada's old "Natural law" party..

  • ron paul 2008

  • lol nice

  • this must have been the most refreshing 2 minutes I've spent since the campaign begun!

    same refrain

    power to the people!

    vote for John!

  • Um, the candidate closest to Gravel is Kucinich. Ron Paul is completely on a different spectrum.

  • Learn about Presidential Candidate Mike Gravel by watching the short series-

"Tribute to Mike Gravel: The Modern Day Thomas Paine".

    /watch?v=arS8nFguDsU

Produced by overmind25, who is a very informed young person.

The series informs you what Gravel stands for and what he intends to do. There's not a lot of deception or talking around subjects. Gravel says what he believes is important for the country. Listen to the content.

  • This guy is really weird.

  • nice

  • es un divino!

Americans: please, stop and think! please take the power back, is the hole world that is in danger of a global dictatorship. The ball is on your yard, people. Power to the people and give peace a chance, the answer to 1984 is 1776! I salut you

  • the last line is "stop and think" not "stop it"

  • Fixed. Thank you :)

  • wow that was really trippy

  • LOL

    WAR IS OVER!

    if you want it.

  • Mike is saying "partisan censorship," not "parties in censorship."

  • Thanks. Fixed.

  • i like this.

  • whatever you're feelings on Mike Gravel or whatever animal you relate to (donkey or elephant, hawk or dove) this is a powerful song that we should listen to more closely. John would dig it. Power to the people!

  • Go Gravel!

  • the least they could stop spouting phsycobabble and debate intelligently. Do you wonder why the other side doesnt listen?? lol

  • Mike gravel is the best of the dem candidates and kucinich!!!

  • squantotonto:

No, its people like you that puts fear in America.

  • To clarify: squantotonto, your ignorance is terrifying. Read a book.

  • All of the things you mentioned, squantotonto, have been brought about by the Bush Administration. Did you ever stop to think that you are criticizing those who point out that fact?

But I suppose ignorance is bliss.

  • well, not all...he's made mistakes of course. But MOSTLY crap

  • Were the Pentagon papers crap Artie?

  • only in YOUR mind is there a difference in TRUTH. Truth is Basic and does not HAVE a political Party.

You use words that were meaningful in the cold war.

    You are a Loser Squatum

  • you fear knowledge. Knowledge = POWER..not Fear. With knowledge you can fight you way through the problems without knowledge you THIRST for understanding and you can't understand because you do not have the FACTS.

  • facts? If I were shown ONE fact, that proved any of the following: Bush/our gov't was behind 9-11, We went to Iraq to dominate the region/steal oil(not saying i agree with the war, but thats not wny we're there), Bush stole either election, bush HATES black people, Bush is like hitler, or 99% of the other accusations against him....if i were shown ONE concrete fact, I'd assassinate him. Honestly. But...that day will never happpen. Because its all lies. Propoganda.

  • If you actually saw the news interviews that also appear on youtube. You would be a lot less ignorant.Youtube is a vault of history of news and your buddies can spin it all they want. Most of the time when something was brought up..YOUR folks would start up a KLINTOON chat on the net.

    take your suppression tactics elsewhere.

  • who ordered NORAD to stand down?

who did this even though and especially though the Pentagon had war games going on littering the radars with fake blimps. Who ordered FAA to lie and deceive, who ordered EPA to lie and deceive? Who has ordered changes in testimony, who has ordered officials NOT to be sworn in to testify.

  • Who has ordered the elimination of emails, videos and the shredding of evidence.

Who ordered editting of report and report revisions. Who didn't do an investigation right of the bat.

Artie, if you were any denser they would make a wall out of you.

  • yea..what a waste of time. "debating" a liberal. Their delusions...THEIR culture of fear. I guess conspiracies are more exciting than reality. OK...No more comments on this subject for me.

  • What a nut you are Artie,

making up a mental patient list of names to harass people on the net.

Why do you use a political philosophy like it is cooties. The "liberal boogeyman" isn't me...go pee on someone else's account for a change.

  • squantotonto, you are hilarious. Your republican party and conservative morals will slowly die away while more and more of those politicians are thrown from office. funny!

  • Absolute dynamite

  • Power to the people!!!

  • word

  • It's a bit odd, but RIGHT ON with the message!! Peace.

  • Mike your right... power to the people .

    to bad there all sleeping.............

    Ron Paul 2008

  • WOW! RIGHT ON DUDE!

  • MIKE GRAVEL RULES.

  • Mike Gravel and Ron Paul: Two great patriotic American heroes.

  • i would want him or ron paul

  • I know that post is a little cryptic but I hope you get the point.Time is running out on a realistic chance of divorcing the corparate intrests from controlling domestic intrests.

  • Muzzeled by the corparate press and tv media. You the young bold and oh so vunerable to the shitstorm thats headed this countrys way the next 20-30 years. You must stand up and make the decision whether or not the individual makes a difference in this Democracy.John Wooden maybe the greatest Coach in all of organised sport said"Be Quick but never Hurry".You the next generation that will make a difference must be quick but not hurry into the mistakes my generation has made.

  • He's the grandfather I never had...

  • Mike Gravel is AWESOME!!!!

  • I love this video. I also dont think it makes Gravel look like a weirdo. On the contrary it looks authentic, and refreshing.

I remember about 20+ years ago, when I would watch politicians on TV as a kid and I really wondered if they were even humans, they seemed like wax models out of Madame Tussands, except these were controlled by some off camera ventriloquist. Growing up, I realized that this is the characteristic that people refer to when they say a candidate looks "presidential".

  • I very much agree with the sentiments Mr Gravel expresses, but it has to be said that this video makes him look a bit like a weirdo. Which surely isn't what he or supporters want. Nonetheless, when corporate censorship kicks in, I guess there's no other choice.

  • I don't think he minds looking like a weirdo. It makes me like him more

  • i lovew this guy.

  • Gravel-Kucinich would be the best thig for america right now, we need people who aren't bought in this election both on the dem and rep sides.

  • You know Linda, I was just thinking the same thing. They are two of the best, smart and good men in all of US politics.

    PL&H

    K

  • The killer ticket! Gravel and Kucinich would really shake some things up. The damage done by the Bush administration is going to plague us for over a generation, we need these guys.

  • america would be lucky to have him as a president. good luck, sir!

  • uuuuuuhhhhhhhh fuck ya dude. GRAVEL 2008 all the way

  • Go Mike Gravel!

  • Lol.

  • who is mike gravel? I like him though :) Give peace a chance!!!!!

  • Google him. If you care about the future of America and are not in the top 1% of our society, he is your man!

  • Old people are cooler than young people. I plan to be one someday.

  • He wonders why no one takes him seriously? Where has he been the past 25 years?

    Cute video though.

  • I believe he was responsible for reading the Pentagon Papers into Congressional Record.

  • Mike Gravel is awesome. I am a Ron Paulite, but Mike rocks....best to him, wish he'd win the Demo nom!

  • GREAT!!!! Mike Gravel rally December 10th 2007, in LOS ANGELES. Rally starts at 1:00 p.m., Mike Speaks at 3:30.

    interiorstate(DOT)com/gravel(DOT)htm
