Wayne Allwine was part of my childhood and when your a kid, you never realize how significant the smallest things are to you. When he died, I couldn't believe it. At least "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days" was dedicated to him. He deserves it all.

wayne allwine was a very talented voice actor, I think he was possibly the one true actor to ever provide the voice of mickey mouse. I'm not sure about his new voice actor bret iwan, but if I do hear his voice I'll give my opinion. but there can never ever be another one like wayne allwine.

Don't worry. A new voice actor has already been selected to carry on Wayne's legacy as Mickey. The torch has now been passed to a voice actor by the name of Bret Iwan. I think Wayne (and the Walt Disney Corporation) chose his successor very wisely from listening to Bret Iwan as Mickey. :)

I remember finding out about Wayne's death. I was completely shocked about the devastating news. I didn't cry though, but hearing about his passing did crushed my heart.

The day I found out that Wayne Allwine had passed away, I mourned his death for two days straight. The first night I spent watching "Mickey's Christmas Carol","The Prince and the Pauper", and "Runaway Brain" from the Mickey Mouse in Living Color Vol. 2 DVD along with the interview he and Russi Taylor (Voice of Minnie Mouse and Wayne's wife) made with Leonard Maltin. I don't believe that anyone could have done our generations' Mickey Mouse better than Wayne did.

I first heard the news of Wayne's death on May 20th when I was surfering through Imdb. I was in total shock. First we lost Ollie Johnston within the last year, now Wayne.
