Our company had a brand new 1988 Econoline 300 6 EFI back then. I had no idea it was injected, so one day it conked-out on me, and I pumped the gas trying to start it. Nothing happened, THEN I found out after opening the hood! The "fart" happened all the time in my '99 Camry V6 when it was REALLY cold. That is the injection squirting a little more gas in to keep the engine alive.
was this van EFI or non fuel injected my grandpa used to have a 1990 clubwagon XL same body style bascially as your van in the video and it had a four barrell carb on it
What do you expect it's a Ford Econoline. I have an 86 Ford Econoline with a 302 EFI V8 and it can be -20 below zero and still start right up I wasn't surprised your did even with a shitty battery.

Fuel Injection come out in 1986 for the 4.9L inline 6 and 5.0L V8 and was in the pick ups and vans starting in 86.
