  • Corporatism is a growing problem. You can see it operating in the UK now. Government would much prefer everybody to work for a corporation & be regulated into being productive units. Taxes can be gathered and monitored much more easily in this structure. Brainwashed by corporate mentality that you see so much of now. They will be allowed to earn only so much and no more. Profits will be shared amongst the already wealthy. The individual small business or self employed will be discouraged.

  • Let us not forget that it was one of Obamas' own czars(Van Jones)who stated that the "green movement"was nothing more than a way to destroy American industrialism.

  • This guy is a wanker

  • Great stuff James and Alex! I prefer pubs with pation heaters too James!

  • when AJ mentions a british newspaper he always says the London telegraph,or the London times,FFS they're not London fkn papers they're British papers there's 4 different countries in Britain yet AJ thinks there's only 1 city in these 4 countries, just a little pissed off with that sorry to ramble, anyways great show with a good guest, its a disgrace what all of our governments are doing to the people they're supposed to represent

  • Not much different than foreign people who equate America with Los Angeles and New York - lol. We all have a limited view of the world around us, but we're working on that. If the globalists have their way, none of us will ever be able to travel the world again.

  • and here's me thinking Chicago plays a big part in the U.S government, haha.Don't get me wrong i love AJ's shows its just a personel gripe,i like too think that when im interested in something i try & get to know as much as possible,i think the U.S & the UK are so closely linked to each other we might as well be an extra state of the U.S,from a personel point of view i live a lot closer to the capital of Scotland than i do London but Scotland hardly gets a mention,Merry Christmas from Tyne & Wear

  • @anastasia81472 You are right.Don't be surprised if you find yourself on the "no fly list"one day.

  • This James fella is a rotten shill! Just listen what he spits carefully...

    CAPITALISM NOT CORPORATISM?!

  • @bdvzim, James might use the term "corporatism" too loosely. I think he meant that he does not agree with gov. favoring big corporations.

  • Where is the three legged stool futures market?

  • funny comment. thanks for lightening the mood here

  • Obama names a cyber security chief today. Corporate cyber security expert and former Bush administration official, Howard A. Schmidt, to lead the effort to shore up the country's computer networks.

  • I told my friends before it was known who the Presidential candidates were chosen that it made no difference who they picked, that both political parties were controlled by the same people. When Obama was chosen I voted for him hoping that I was wrong.

Was McCain the best that the Republican's could pick? Was Palin the best that McCain could have picked? Why didn't he find a black woman to run with him. He would have won.

It seemed to me that McCain was picked to lose the election.

  • @zackindy312 The best choice would have been Ron Paul he was the only one quoting the constitution and the only one that wants to audit the private federal reserve!!! The only one making sense during the debate.

  • I agree that Ron would have been a better choice. I just hope we are all wrong and full of shit. I am very worried about Obama relationship with Maurice Strong

  • Quite correct. Diebold, (who keeps changing their name for obvious reasons) and all of their subsidiaries are owned by the same people trying to implement a global dictatorship. Ever tried to "audit" a vote count?

  • ?Children minds have been robbed from then by tv? Their ability to focus has been damaged is my belief. I am looking for research on this topic.

  • Students are not taught the times tables so when simplifying algebraic expressions or solving quadratics by factoring is the topic, how is a child suppose to be able to do that, without knowing the basic multiplication facts memorized.

Would love to have Alex check out the data on charter schools and their comparison with equivalent sample sets.

When did public education start to take a dive?

Who came up with the concept of charter schools?

  • I doubt hitler would have got where he did if he wasn't funded by the Rockefellers and friends. Where did he get all the money to restructure Germany at that time? Sounds like the same people that gave to Pres Hoover. As the saying goes -'You can't create money out of thin air' - but it seems u can, look how well Bernanke's doing with this adage.

  • @jackiechops

The whole thing is very scary, and the public don't want to think about anything that makes them uncomfortable. Be it politics or religion.

  • Stupid things has been pushed down teacher's throat such as "Well, students that are in higher level course preform better, so all students should be placed in higher level classes. No child left behind is a joke. My niece was left behind when SHE WAS BORN with her mental and physical problems.

  • I'm reading Mein Kampf now, its amazing and it could be telling todays political story.....Please read it !!!!

  • it is amazing how the MO of Marxist takeovers wherever they have occurred is strikingly similar.

You first have dire economic conditions. Then a premise of hope with programmed education of the youth toward a hidden agenda for the followers and a false front counter to it put forth to the masses.

Then a crisis followed by a takeover and those who know too much or disagree get taken out of the picture.

  • Ha ha indeed, History does repeat itself.

  • Same play book they're using today. Good comment.

  • guess what im going to start little business on the side .cash only . screw the goverment

  • fuck em, they steal enough off us.

  • YEP!

  • For how they took over society and subverted it slowly for their own means, check out the interviews of Yuri Bezmenov here on youtube.

Yuri Bezmenov explains and goes into detail the tactics they have used against us.

  • I hope when the "S**T" hits the fan, the fan will not be set on high or turned off.

  • I'm not quite following your metaphor, why would you want the fan to be on? Seems it'd be easier to clean when it's off (and less splatter).

  • I just hope that the things that Alex talks about don't take place, such as putting people in the prison camps, when the public begins to react. I believe that everything that is typed on this site and others like it has been stored. I just hope that this country doesn't completely destroy itself.

  • Fair enough. I'm with you on that.

  • I truly believe that the American public has been dumbed down. Ever watch the Jay Leo show with "JayWalkers". Ever take a look at the way education is done in this country. Teachers are expected to go through the subject, such as mathematics, too fast. The students don't have time to practice and learn anything.

  • I think that things like JayWalkers are exaggerated, personally. And while the education system is not exactly good, I came out of it well enough. *shrug*

Actually, I think, if anything, the education system could be more rigorous, but that's my opinion.

  • @tsenzei I hope that you are correct about Jaywalkers.

  • I'm not so sure, what's the US ranking in Education?

I don't think we even break top 10.

  • I agree. Education must be "rigorous". primarily, we should focus on language, (reading writing) math, science, computer, etc.

Instead, hours showing Gore's movie, talking about how we need to reduce population, social studies, political and cultural training/indoctrination. The new textbooks tell the kids all about how the UN and the WTO is going to "save the planet". The publishers of those books are the same elite banking cartels pushing the carbon tax.

  • It is sad how ignorant people are. Read up on fluoride. It's effects on the human brain were first studied in gulags and then also Nazi Germany. It makes people docile, confused. It makes it hard to think, makes people AVOID learning. 60% of America's drinking water is poisoned w/ this stuff, (they also add it to bottled water and many foods/drinks) even though there is profound evidence that it causes tooth enamel destruction, bone loss, even cancer. Most people can't help it/don't know.

  • FREE MARKET:

Where the government stays the F out of it!

"Government favoring" ANY private biz is WRONG. So long as the gov stays out of the way, the little guy CAN get in and compete!

  • Yes and no. Regulation (but not such that it favors any particular business) is needed to keep companies from pushing out small businesses using less... tasteful tactics. There's a reason why anti-trust laws and the like were created to begin with.

  • What particular business "regulation" is possible which does not "favor" one biz over another?

Without enforcement the antitrust laws aren't making things any better. No way to enforce the ones to protect the little guy, but lots of enforcement 4 big biz interests. We really must stop believing that more government intervention in the answer to all of our problems. The presumption that gov. has a role in running our businesses/health/lifestyle/morals, etc., is what got us into this mess.

  • "Regulations" like: "don't kill and/or steal that guys stuff", "don't lie to your stock holders", aforementioned anti-trust laws when properly enforced, copyright laws (when equally and properly enforced), etc.. Certain protectionist policies (tariffs for example) can also prove helpful internationally, though reserved for nations/companies which don't observe the regulations.

I'm not saying MORE government, but I disagree with the statement that there should be NO government involvement.

  • The issue is, currently, that we've allowed various interests to accrue so much power that they hold influence and sway over the agencies which are supposed to hold them accountable (or abolished them entirely), while simultaneously expanding oversight and power over those people that they don't like (generally, everybody else).

As such, that power needs to be returned to where it belongs. Government of, by, and actually for, the people. But removing government entirely is not a good idea.

  • You're right. We need to enforce theft laws, fraud laws, etc. & equally applied protections for the benefit of our citizens as a whole.

We are so far from this right now though. Instead of enforcing perfectly good theft and fraud laws, when these things happen (en mass) our government turns a blind eye, pays the thieves MORE (our tax dollars) & then tells us that we need more "regulations" (4 our own good) which ultimately ONLY affect the little guy. This is 2 prevent competition.

  • Maybe we need "conflict of interest" leglislation which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to hold a gov position if you have any ties to the industry you would be regulating/FAVORING?

  • I'd agree with that, certainly. Or, at the least, during and after they hold the position.

  • Liberals and libtards, libtards and liberals. Has James Delingpole already forgotten (or does he choose not to see) the lying, mass murderous and absolutely disastrous regime of George W. Bush?

  • I CHALLENGE ANY OF YOU TO PROVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WRONG!

OBAMA the Greatest Bait and Switch president in American history. A COMPLETE FRAUD AND SHILL.

HE IS NO DEMOCRAT. HE IS A NEO-CON calling himself a Democrat.

He is pro-war, (now spending more on the Pentagon than Bush did)

He is reversed on : telecom immunity, spying, war funding, renegotiating N.afta, detainee detention

  • Good comment!

  • It's about destroying our quality of life.

When hard working people... who have earned their money honestly....

can see when someone who has earned a lot of money illegally...are dog shit...

The honest wage earners have to be destroyed.

    The poor admire the rich.

    The ugly admire the beautiful

    The weak admire the strong.

The sheep admire the strong pretty rich sheep.

  • Exactly. Now that the elites have picked our pockets and run up a debt of 180K per family in the US, they must kill us, particularly since we're starting to understand who robbed us.

The debt is a FRAUD, and our only salvation is to reject it. There's just no way to "work our way out of it", unless we sell our children and their children. Oh yeah, the elites believe they already own them. That's rich.

  • what do you think of eckharte tolle? he promotes the power of now and not thinking. i'm a bit iffy on those concepts.

  • @Johnnytheowl ... Eckharte points to a deeper truth beyond our arbitrary stories... constructs of mind and thought. i don't believe he suggests not thinking (that's a little hard to avoid and not necessary), just that we might become aware that the chatter in our heads has little to do with the big truth. that being that no one knows what we are, what anything is; and that the miracle we are intrinsically a part of is constantly unfolding regardless of our awareness of it. write me please.

  • I read the Power of Now too, and much more. It's valuable, beyond belief, and can give one courage beyond reason, once they understand who they really are, which is not this "skin". We are so much more. The elites would prefer we did not understand this. I cannot believe that they do, or they would not be behaving the way they do. So much of their plotting is just pure, soulless, evil.

  • I like being in the NOW;

Right NOW they are robbing us blind.

Right NOW, they are attempting a massive global tax to fund an unelected elite banking cartel's global government.

Right NOW it's freezing cold and it's going to get much colder, according to the scientists following the solar flair cycles.

Right NOW they are plotting how they shall dispose of 90% of us "peasants".

RIGHT NOW is the time to stand up to them, in whatever ways we can think of.

  • It's currently above 40 degrees here in Alaska.

  • what part of Alaska?

I am in Northern CA and we just got a terrific cold front, record lows, again.

The University of Illinois keeps daily planetary ice data, going back 30 years. Based upon the comparisons I conducted there myself recently, the total ice coverage and density/thickness is the same as it was 30 years ago. We did have a warming/melting period, but it ended in 1998 and it appears we've been cooling since. The ice coverage recovered to late 70's levels a couple of years ago.

  • I'm near Anchorage.

  • mr delingpole you said it right about "wishful thinking"! i get SO PISSED OFF when so many christians & people who "live for the system" think this way! people you can't be babies forever WAKE THE FUCK UP!!

  • Comment removed

  • That is so wrong...but it's accurate about how wrong everything is right now.

  • Comment removed

  • that was so wrong,i didn't investigate him until you made that comment

  • the nwo pundits are the real kooks

  • William Kristol?

Alex's guest is a fucking NeoCON.

  • @FEARisPROFIT: I have a feeling this guy was pumping his fist and cheering on Bush for 8 years.

  • Yeah, this guest is a Shill.

  • Yeah, I think Alex could spend a little more time explaining to this guy the truth behind the "left/right" paradigm construct, get clear of it on his show. So long as the name-calling goes on, (liberal/conservative) it's that much harder to get the truth out. No reason to start off offending someone with a label right off the bat. Many good people who are simply unaware identify with one "side" of the other, and it's nice when we can show them some facts. Name calling doesn't get us anywhere.

  • Capitalism and corporatism are the two sides of the same coin, dear!

No Milton FRIEDMAN for me...thank you very much.

  • This guys sounds like a Shill.

  • I love Alex but must say I find this James fella to be two-faced....somehow I cant trust this bloke.

  • capitalism can turn to fascism.

The small business man is destroyed & the large corporation flourishes.

  • I thought that's what capitalism is. The winners win and losers lose, because the winner cheats.

  • @guidojacobs2002 , there actually are some honest biz people who win. The sad thing is, big gov ONLY favors big biz in illegal ways which leads to monopolies over entire industries.

  • Do you personally know some honest biz people who win?

  • Yes I do. Evil is not the only way to have good things in one's life. Money is not the root of all evil,..the love of money is.

  • I envy you. The nicest biz person I know divorced his wife and kept 95%.

  • No doubt, a great % of people with money are evil. But I've met plenty of losers who were super evil too. Being poor doesn't automatically mean that one is virtuous.

  • That's just it. We're surrounded by evil, poor and rich alike. I know that good will win, I just want to see how.

  • STAY TUNED!

Secrets long kept, are being revealed to the masses for the 1st time ever. It's getting harder and harder for people to lie. We are disgusted at how much lying we see, but seeing it is the beginning of something new I think. It's not just the internet, for this mechanism is merely a reflection of the intrinsic changes of the species who created it. We cannot make something that does not reside within us. Oops, I forgot, Gore "invented" the internet which debunked global warming;-)

  • More spending huh? this is going to free fall into obamanation.

  • I am enjoying the recent rapport between the texan bacon lover and the british tea enthusiasts.

  • That's really an amazing video. I appreciated the discussion.
