  • shocking misuse of names lol

  • The actors definitely had a problem with names, didn't they!

  • I Loved This Program So Much As A Kid, My Mum Used To Let Me Stay Up Late Till After 12 Midnight On Thursday Nights When It Was Broadcast On UK TV In The Late 80's. I Wish They Would Show The Series Again Just For Old Times Sake :-)

  • There were always mistakes on this show. Half of it's charm. The other half was it's greatness.

  • short term memory loss

  • Ep4: Greg nearly walking into Meg isn't a gaff, it's acting!

  • LOL

  • damn u are a prisoner pro! i found this because i just realised judy has a baby but claimed to be a virgin, then this popped up on google with tons of other nutty enthusiasts.. prisoner rocks! :-)

  • Did the actress who played Miss McBride also appear in Shame?

  • Bea's hubby Jack/Harry would reappear from the dead over and over again throughout Prisoners 8 years,

  • Lori wasn't known as Laura when she got married, it was always Lori.

  • i didnt see Frankie in there anywhere

  • mrs hammond, the piano teacher, jeeezzz, google hammond organ

  • Noeline is fuckin class!!!! LOL

  • It sounded like that man asked Erica about a penis LOL He really pianist.

  • thanks for putting this all together the only things I really hated was the reuse of actors in different roles like Merv Pringle who was Doreen's penpal Peter. Agnus who was Etti and others that don't come to mind right now. But once again thanks for posting these videos.

LONG LIVE PCBH! why did they call it cell block H anyway as it was always known as just "Prisioner" to us Aussies!

  • @737flyguy Oops! I ran out of characters!

There were a couple other instances where an actor played more than one character in the duration of "Prisoner": The man who owned the nursery where Lynn Warner worked (in season one) played a bit part later on......the actor who played Geoff Butler (the one responsible for the bomb which killed Jim Fletcher's wife & children) ended up playing Ernest Craven in the last handful of episodes, and the woman who played Anne Reynolds (continued.....)

  • @737flyguy once played a mean prison guard at Barnhurst (when Bea was sent there, briefly).

LOVE Prisoner still to this day, and watch the odd DVD every now & then still. Lizzie was one of my favorites. :)

  • @737flyguy I don't know about the rest of the world but here in the UK It had to be changed because Anglia TV who made the 60's show the Prisoner thought people would get them mixed up so banned the original title from being used for British TV, bloody fools.

  • this is one of my favorite shows I am currently collecting the DVD set and only have 10 more to buy. One thing is I have noticed these errors as well but remember back in those days they filmed each section of scenes not 1 after he other. IE film 10 lots of corridor scenes 10 lots of laundry scenes etc etc. so yes there is errors but they should have checked before each shoot. Judy's name changed the most in the whole show :)

  • @737flyguy Hello there in Australia!! I just love "Prisoner". Watched it here, back in the early 1980s.

I was aware that the series was called "Prisoner" in Australia, but here in Canada (and in Britain, from what I gather), the series was re-titled "Caged Women". They'd play one hour-long episode twice a week during primetime here back then. But on an nearby American station (I live close to the border), it was called "Prisoner: Cell Block H" and they had half-hour episodes nigntly.

  • And i always thought that Prisoner was flawless. LOL Thanks.

    BTW I LUV VINEGAR TITS

  • 9:05, meg say topical disease - hope she meant tropical!

  • anyone notice that the old woman at the car who says she is the new social worker miss foster actually is etty the dopey old woman who was in jail for 40 years because the department forgot about her

  • thanks so much, this is hilarious! i especially loved the changing flowers, Vera's changing hair, and clothes changing mysteriously!! i am subscribing! x

  • 'Lookout,it's the freak!!!'

  • lol hilarious. whos this Miller really?

  • "YOU GOT ANY GROG LIZZIE" LMAO

  • but the woman who said that she couldn't have children said she got pregnant and terminated the pregnancy, so that isn't really a continuity issue.

  • well there are other comments that suggest she had kids naturally then later they are adopted and much older

  • You are so observant. Wish I'd noticed half of these.

  • with judy bryant saying she is a virgin, then saying she has a daughter, this is not neccessarily a mistake because everybody knows her as a lesbian therefore she must of told helen that she is a virgin as a sort of cover-up because she thaught she'd never see her daughter again and didnt want anybody to know that she had a daughter and lost her virginity.

  • Yeah but she could still say I have had sex with a man without mentioning she had a baby!!

  • thats a good point i didnt really think about that when i rote it.

  • But lesbian sex is still sex, so if she'd ever been with another woman she wouldn't be a virgin anyway.

  • No, lesbian sex is NOT sex. Think about it - how can two women really have anything more than extreme foreplay? Unless, of course, they just scissor or something...

  • love this show. fab video thanks

  • Great video, well picked over.

  • You Know That 'Judy Bryant's Name Change'

In Episode 400 The Police Officer Calls Her Judith Anne Bryant

  • Ooh thanks for that..might put it on next one lol

  • I Think I Cant Memba I Will Watch It & Let Ya Know

  • @MisterShaq7427 in another episode her full name is judith may bryant

  • Prisoner was famous for its cardboard walls and and creaky set, people loved it because it wasn't perfect.

  • maybe the lady fell ill and the guy is the replacement

  • if you slo mo that flat number mix up it is also a different colour door and seems to glimmer 3 and 5 then nothin on the first door.

'JACK" is a term for any man...like MAC - old fashioned.

  • Thanks ever so much for posting, really great memories of one of the best TV shows ever. Just goes to show they are all human!

  • they are great...i love it!

some stuff though i think geeez it's continuity and they have people on staff for that. i think they didn't think the audience would notice.
