If Hitler was around today, he would certainly ride a bicycle (much like David Cameron does). For those who don't already know, Hitler promoted vegetarianism, animal rights, environmentalism and all that nice herbal stuff...bless his little green soul.

So in a way, he has a lot in common with the Facebook bridge protesters, especially when it comes to censorship and banning free speech.

Feel free to tell me exactly what ideas of yours have been taken up. If you want credit for them and the ideas were yours alone then fair enough. Other people have contributed to the campaign, but have never wanted credit for their efforts. I do remeber one letter of yours to the Mercury which I thought was excellent by the way.

How does offending students contribute to the campaign to save the bridge and pub exactly? The issue of the impact of having loads of students in one area is a valid one, but the Facebook group isn't the place for it. If you want to air your views, why not start your own group dedicated to the subject? I don't see how you can say that there was no explanation as to why your posts etc were removed. Just look on this page at some of my other comments. The explanation is there is black and white

Nick, I'm not self-righteous, I'm just trying to save a bridge and a pub. I seem to remember from some of your (usually excellent)comments on the Leicester Mercury's website that you live just down the road from where there's been a protest going on for 18 dys now, but not one of us down there last night can remember seeing you down there. Why not do something onstructive and come and talk to passers by and tell them what's been going on. Not everyone knows all the details you know.
