  • Why did he have to die :(

  • Wow, he remembered lines from a show he did 40 years earlier!

  • He was a gifted actor/comedian. I'd always laugh my head off when he'd start honking on the odd couple. God Bless you Tony

  • I was impressed by a story that I read where he helped encourage Jack Klugman to go through physical therapy to get his voice back and do a comedy with him..making him so happy.

  • What a joy it is to watch this and hear all that he had to say, especially about The Odd Couple show. I had been searching for something like this...to hear his take on the show and all and was glad to come across this. It's wonderful. Thanks for posting it. Thank you Tony for doing it.

  • Only possible "fault" in these archive interviews is there may be too much

"shop talk" about names and situations unimportant to anyone else but

the few persons involved at the moment. It would be great if Tony would

have treated us all to his brilliant comic and stage ability by regaling us

with samples of his exhaustive reportoire, as he often did when guesting

on prime time interview shows. Randall could have you on the floor lol

by reciting one of his hilarious poems, which we miss.

  • Nice to hear that the late great Tony Randall had a "piece of the action" when it came to the hit sitcom "The Odd Couple". A hard working veteran of show biz like him deserved that financial security that the show provided. He was definitely what can be safely called a CLASS ACT! A talented, intelligent, gentle, articulate & kind man. Talents such as his are SORELY missed in these days of so many famous but actually untalented personalities. THANKS for sharing this insightful interview! :)

  • Great insights on the value of reports on the current tastes of audiences. It is probably one reason why so many show on TV now are horrid.

  • @ajames95 What is your point?

  • i loved tony also but the deciding reason why i watched the odd couple million time was jack klugman and his brilliant role as oscar madison

  • Tony, you brought me so many tears from laughing so much. I loved you on the, "Odd Couple" series.

  • So sad, a talented man, and a gentleman.

  • A unique actor, very precise.

Had the opportunity to become a dad. Truly a great accomplishment.

You will be very missed, Tony!
