@ReturnOfTheJam this promo is how it's supposed to be done. Great heat drawing and not reading from a script like Cena and those WWE guys do. He's not there to make friends or anything, he was their #1 heel and was drawing heat like he was supposed too. WWE could learn a lot from this.

Being able to have an effective tag team with Adrian Adonis is also a testament to Dick Murdoch's talent. There aren't many more unlikely teams but I really enjoy watching old footage of Adonis and Murdoch. It was also a pleasant surprise to see him in the 1995 Royal Rumble.
You can judge a man by the quality of his opposition. Dibiase, Race, Flair, Bruiser, Brisco. Dick Murdoch is one of the greatest of all time in the ring and on the mic. "Somebody moved the ring" fucking hilarious!
@RLFLOWS I had heard that Murdoch was a Klan member, but if he was he wasn't a hardcore member. He never brought it to the ring, never aired his personal opinions in his interviews, and he was always willing to wrestle, and even lose to, non-whites. As far as his personal beliefs go, whatever they were, he was as entitled to them as you or I are to ours, but in the ring he was all business, and all good.
great mike skills! the "wrestlers " of today could learn a thing or two from Murdoch about articulation. only one problem, with the spit flying, you needed an umbrella and a hooded raincoat to interviw him.
