I have had 15+ kidney stones...For men its like someone squeezing your balls as hard as they can for 20 to 30 min straight..some stones are small and you feel them but its not as bad as the big ones..big ones the pain is so bad I have almost passed out..
Totally agree with all that have commented about the pain. Ok Im 30 yr old male so I cant compare with Child Birth but it just hit me at 2am one morning got up vomiting but nothing was coming out. I live in a area thats got alot of elderly and I was willing to push anyone out of the way to get in first because the pain was unbareable. Found a warm shower on the back helped for a bit. Hope it doesnt ever happen again.,
I just had a kidney stone and can say it was the worst pain of my life .I went to the ER and was put on an IV and given pain meds. The first thing the Doctor ask me was do you drink alot of Ice Tea and yes I do .I use the ice tea mixs .He was right I have stop drinking it and staying with water.
I've been getting kidney stones for about 4 years now. Best way I can describe it is it feels like a you've been punched in the stomach but in your back side. That pain usually radiates to the front of your pelvis. Then you start vomiting and blood pressure goes up a bit. After I vomit it gives me about 10 minutes of relief before the pain starts up again.
An amazing and natural way to maintain, dissolve stones plus a great cleanse for your kidneys and liver - Squeeze a fresh lemon add some water and DRINK !
do it twice a day. i got this advice from a Doctor that specialize in breaking stones !!!
i was freaking dying going to Tesco to buy like 20L of water and lemons.by the time i come back something really mietrious had happened like from walking and caring that much weight well including a 2l pepsi a 2l coke 2l natural citrus punch 2l so.i just felt like some kind of "almost pain" i think that you organizm is trying to take this by forcing them to pee or something, thing is i dont have that kind of pain anymore x] but i dont even kneew if this where stones, but i recomend to walk a lot
yeah i am going in for an ultra sound today for my possible kidney stone. first one ever but to add on to that i am a little over a month pregnant with my first child so..........i guess i may be in for it WISH ME LUCK! HEHE
I just had a stone, recently, and I can safely say that she is 100% correct that it is worse that childbirth. And for some reason, men form stones far more than women do. If there are any pregnant ladies out there, next time I form a stone, get ahold of me and I'll swap you.
The title of this video is wrong. Until the very end of the video she says absolutely nothing about any real prevention other than "drink a lot of water". It can't be any water. Obviously the "hard water" high in limestone (calcium carbonate) or whatever other components is going to be a problem.
She is a doctor, so she could not help mentioning medication. Best prevention: Drink orange juice regularly. It's more effective than lemon juice, and has a much better taste.
I have a 10mm stone and just had a stent placed today. This experience has just been TERRIBLE. Lithotripsy next friday, fingers crossed it will blast up the first time. She is absolutely right about the pain is worse than childbirth. Absolutely!!
I would not wish kidney stones on my worst enemy. It is this worst pain I ever had it was more painful than labor.. If I could imagine what it felt like to be stabbed and someone twisting the knife that is prolly what it would feel like . Doctors tried to make me pass a 8mm it was football shaped and ended up getting lodge in my tube between the kidney and bladder still they let me hang on because it was not blocking urine flow. i know it was because of no insurance
I have had 3 battles with this, in 2001, 2005, and last month. the Nausea that the pain causes and my entire body shakes, in 2001 I went to a county hospital because I didn't have insurance and they took 4 hours before giving me an IV. Last month now that I have Kaiser I was given morphine and an IV within 45 minutes.
I really hate Dr. Jennifer Ashton are fraud.

worthless. She's had three stones and apparently learned nothing. She offers no advice except drinking water? Wow. Where's the prevention?
